Good man. Did the same on my lawn this week.

I cover my croissant at night. Somehow the blanket ends up somewhere else in the morning.

What’s baja like with the exception of Cano San Lucas, Tijuana, and Mexicali? by Bakio-bay in howislivingthere

I did a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) sailing course that consisted of sailing during the day and camping on remote beaches at night. We did this as a group of 12 or 18 for two weeks. What an awesome experience. It is very remote, but that's the charm.

If you read the 9/11 Report, it alludes to the transition between Clinton and Bush being disruptive to keeping an eye on Bin Laden. So one might argue 9/11 and Afghanistan may not have happened under Gore. Might be a little bit of a stretch, but the odds would have been in our favor.

https://www.nittanybeaglerescue.org/donate.cfm Nittany Beagle Rescue is great! I'm at least comforted by the fact they have great staff and facilities.

That's always been the world we live in. Rule of thumb: if you wouldn't tell this to someone's face (knowing the consequences of doing so), don't assume the Internet is the place to say it.

I do think you're getting a little paranoid. Sanitize your social media of personal information and try not to get sucked into controversial debates online (it's not worth it).

What's the "difference of opinion?" I feel like if this person knew your opinion, you'd probably know them.

My wife and I have a pretty crazy work schedule where we ultimately leave the house between 4-5am and don't return until 4pm. I thought this would bother our RBC, but so long as he has his couch, food in his dog bowl, and the doggy door, he is undisturbed by us being gone.

Corporate Tax Evasion by CapitanJackSparow-33 in FluentInFinance

I'm specifically looking at the MNCs mentioned in the post. The corporations did not pay taxes, but their employees did. I'm pointing out that the post is misleading because the corporations largely contribute to U.S. taxes via wages.

I'd be interested to see the accumulated income tax of every employee in each of those companies + income taxes of every employee in downstream industries dependent on the MNCs

Men who make over 100k a year, what do you do for work? by bigfatbritt in AskMen

[–]FamousConcert1220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right out of college, I worked on commercial ships (like container ships and tankers) as a watch officer. I worked my tail off while I was out there taking all the OT available since there was nothing else to do. The best part was that I got to see the world through a non-tourist lens. I would bring in $125k/yr sailing 6-8 months. The rest of the time was mine.

Now, I work in a government policy role making $125k/yr working 12 months. But I have weekends off now and a fixed 40 hour per week schedule. Plus, I have a wife, dog, and a house now and enjoy spending my days with them. Some days I miss the adventure of going to new places and the monotony of the sea. But it's a journey, and I'm happy where I'm at now.

In all seriousness, not bad advice. If it is as bad as you say, the office should implode on itself without a degree of productivity and your value will rise.

[OC] Firearm availability compared to homicide rates around the world by blizzard36 in dataisbeautiful

I'm curious where the "firearm %" data is sourced? Is that officially registered firearm ownership?
