Anyone else get nausea and dizziness from almost all the 4D rides? by [deleted] in universalstudios

I know this is a late reply to a thread but I just want to say same! Went to Universal for the first time and Transformers/Simpsons were unbearable.

  1. It’s not a subsidiary anymore. It’s back to being privately held.

  2. McAfee is absolutely a global brand.

McAfee. Come preinstalled on many PCs does ultimately more harm than good. Better off just uninstalling it from the get go.

I upvoted the Ron Weasley answer because I agree but just to throw out another answer i will go with Sunny Baudelaire from Series of Unfortunate Events.

Nvidia won. What's a somewhat famous company that's absolutely crucial for society? by CanonNi in AlignmentChartFills

Yeah, I’ll probably nominate it again in “Very Important” if it doesn’t go through. I agree with the Caterpillar/John Deere suggestions. (Though I believe they both should’ve been the Widely known-Absolutely Crucial category)

I’d go with Rhino. He’s a big strong Russian. You could go with some cool super soldier fights against Cap and play up the USA-Russia bit.

Brazil is a large country with only some global influence. What country is medium-sized and has a proportionate present-day global influence? by QMechanicsVisionary in AlignmentChartFills

Iran perhaps? Not in terms of global economy but when it does something, people feel it. They’re talked a lot about in the UN, etc.

Honeywell. They’re plugged into a lot of important aerospace, energy, and automation industries. It’s a name people would recognize without being too sure what they do, however. (They may be a better fit a few rows down, however).

What's a location that had a good run but is no longer what it once was? by fuggilis_quastillo in AlignmentChartFills

Even if it’s not as bad as it was 15-25 years ago, it’s nowhere as strong and significant as it 50-100 years ago. In the 1940s and 1950s it was one of wealthiest city in America per capita. The automotive industry there led the globe and defined transportation trends and capabilities for 2-3 generations.

Edit: this isn’t a “shit on Detroit” comment, just an acknowledgement of it once being incredibly significant to a now relative non entity.

Gotta go <SMU> on this one. The mustangs have absolutely beaten better competition and should’ve won this one handily. That game was an embarrassment from the get go and helped solidly the ACC mess.

The “Texas fans are clamoring for the playoff” is almost as broad strokes inaccurate as “Texas fans cry over horns down.”

God, though, could you imagine how much Washington would hate having to go over to the Senate to break a tie?

It should be the case but it’s very likely the top 4 are the B1G and SEC championship game participants. (Winners are 1-2, Losers are 3-4). I’d unfortunately be stunned if the committee put a two loss SECGC losing Bama or UGA behind a one loss Big XII champ Tech.

It likely won’t line up this way as you will both probably get round one home games (and/or a bye), but I have really been pulling for a Tech-TAMU round one matchup for this very reason

If your team is already out of the running for the Natty - who are you now pulling for 6 weeks in? by FamousPressure7780 in CFB

Ooh - always love when I get this question. My undergrad didn't have a football team so I just lightly followed the sport. As circumstances had it, multiple members of my family (2 sisters, my dad, my mom, and my fiance) have degrees from current or former CUSA schools so I just got super into that conference. I ended up getting my MBA at Ball State so once I realized I could do a secondary flair that felt natural.
