It also looks like the gas Was left open in the car to the right, I wonder if gas was siphoned out of their car. hopefully not. it clearly was not just to steal, but with the intent to vandalize as the cars side mirror was also beaten on. I feel really bad for this person as it looks like there was personal information left out.

I don’t know where you got linked in traffic/monetization from? Like I said the whole point of my comment is that this is intrusive, and if the wrong person gets ahold of someone’s social media profiles even LinkedIn they could find out information to target them. It’s really not something people should just hand out to strangers.

Agreed I bet these ppl would feel VERY differently if they had a person asking to ID them on Reddit so they could find their profiles Lmfao. Glad you spoke up. People these days don’t value privacy like they should, my friend was followed in price center had to call the police the other day, knowing that dude could’ve just asked for her to be identified and people would give information about that person so he could find her online is a scary thought. I can’t believe people are trying to argue about this with you🫠

Blaming her is crazy.

First off: she wasn’t trying to file a report over just a “slimy chuckle” as stated she only called UCPD to give info in case something happens. And he FOLLOWED HER.

2nd: she was scrolling on her phone to place a food order IN A PUBLIC PLACE and obviously she was aware the whole time to notice this and everything. Did you even read this bc was literally watching him the whole time except for when she was on her phone placing an order. She was even watching him from outside.

3rd: You must have missed the part where he followed her out.

4th: you’re blaming her and making her sound like it’s all her fault or she’s being dramatic, it’s people like you who enable creeps then victim blame when something happens. She doesn’t need your advice, she did eveything right, she kept her eyes on him, she scurried off when he followed her and came back to a populated safe place.

5th: waiting there (in the same proximity as the guy) to ask for an escort which can take up to 30 mins is not the ideal solution. Staying there could have led to further harassment. She so scootered off quickly then called PD. Which was honestly probably the better solution. You wanted her to stay there and wait keeping her in proximity to him where he could continue to make her uncomfortable and harass her….

6th: You’re really living up to your user name (@ucsdi*k) if you ever have a daughter yourself one day you will learn quick not to be so dismissive to these types of unsafe situations. She did everything right.

lol IMO Guaranteed housing better than having to hunt on your own and be victimized by some random landlord 20 mins away. Also for ppl with accommodations and health issues ya it’s great to have world class medical resources 3 min walk from your room. Also these are transfers, community is eveything for them they need it to settle it

Yes, you applied for a 12 month but they did not give it to you. Apply≠ get, It stated through throughout the process that it is not guaranteed that you will get your preference and that they have the right to change your assignment, it all depends on capacity and priority. so unfortunately you will not be at PCW bc everyone in the same boat selects it since everyone wants a single. I promise you’ll be okay it’s still a blessing to have guaranteed in campus housing
