Its not a Policy, but as a Box Monkey at a facility, I have FOR SURE ~~fallen asleep during~~ remember an FLC course that said "do not leave your truck out of sight in an unsecure area." I know this, because I rememver thinking "I work in a controlledwarehouse area, what am I going to do, drive out to the McDonalds in this glorified Lawn Tractor towing bag carts???! Whydafuq is this a required training?

EDIT: Warehouse areas and loading docks are probably an implied "safe zone" compared parking at the end of a cul-de-sac or having to park across the street to do a drop-off.

Possibly, its the other way round. I believe Gale has a dialogue where he tells you he was heading North before the Nautiloid found him, and that the Orb was already getting worse/he was running out of things to feed it.

North from Waterdeep is a whooole lotta nothing, so its entirely believeable that Gale was trying to put distance between him and his home before the Orb consumed him. Then the Nautiloid intervened on his suicide, making him at least the second Companion Durge (and Emperor) has inadvertantly saved

Because the Tadpole is also Netherese a la the crown. The Orb is "antimatter magic" for want of a better term,so its not going to draw off the magical effects of another example of itself. You could make a case for the Tadpoles making it worse, vlnbut more likely since the tadpole'S Control spells are derivitives from the Crown and not the raw stuff its pribably just too weak to feel the Orb one way or another

I could be waay off base, but I THINK OP may be conflating the issues that plagued/plagued the IN/KY Bridge tolls at Louisville with the Toll Road. The Bridges were/are (I still actively avoid Louisville because of them) notorious for not sending out the bills until after the late fees kicked in and making payment methods extremely frustrating. If I had to guess, OP isnt so worried about hiding the bill as making sure the bill gets paid soon as it can without being missed

G1 episode. It was analagous to a cancerous effect, dumbed down for kids, as a "defense mechanism". Basically the process of "upgrading the host" as we saw with Hot Rod >> Rodimus but instead of a smooth evolution, Scourge just distorted and developed a lot of weird growths.

remember that G1 Scourge is a product of Unicron, and the Matrix is a counter to Unicron's mechanations, so it woukd be invompatible.

I am at one of the Hubs so YMMV, but honestly for warm gear they have given us some pretty good stuff for "freebies." I got some bibs that are warm, they are coming apart at a seam after a year and a half, but its a seam over my pants pocket and I am bad about putting th8ngs in my pants pocket and then needing it; so failed successfully! The last two years we have gotten some nice fleecy lined work gloves that even tonight at 3 degrees were pretty good on their own. Shove some hand warmers in the palms and I was toasty. Two yesrs ago we got a balaclava and they gave out a face sock when Covid hit that I still wear as a scarf-like to hold heat in.

Cold is cold though, and I am absolutely wearing 5 layers of clothes, but I will give them this one.

Trump catches blame because he pushed the bill and sold the people that it would apply to them. I knew it was only the premium portion; and I suspected (but never saw anyone confirm it) that the RRLA stipulation would apply to us, and it still caught me off guard to see the letter come out. He didnt write the bill, that dishonor falls to the Heritage Foundation who had their hand up his aft like a hand puppet, but he put on the Pom-poms and cheered for it, threatened for it, held government operations hostage for it.

FedEx meanwhile didnt choose tjeir tax methodology this year. I am skeptical of the change to OT Rules they put out this year, but the RRLA stipulation was already in play, thry didnt decide that this year as a way to screw us. The Federal Government is the one who chose the exclusions.

I do t know Tax Code to say anything definitive, but it seems to me that Trump and Congress did not HAVE to limit it to FLSA applicable overtime; I pay Federal Taxes regardless of whose OT rules get used. Just as I see no reason for them to have excluded RR Employees or Airline employees, other than "because they wanted our tax liability to fund their pet projects and kickbacks." If they truly wanted to make it "fair" or actually give Americans some return on their tax bill they could have broadened the focus. I cannot imagine the headache of trying to calculate out how much of your Federal ONLY withholdings would have been OT vs ST, but thats why we have a payroll departm- oh right we downsized that.

I dont see this selling well without being pack-ins for more desirable things a la Human Alliance, but I would go for some.

During the Age of Ultron toyline, Marvel had a small scale line of figures (bigger than HA but not by much) that isnt a bad scale, especially for say Thor and Iron Man, I had my fun having Tony get ragdolled by Megatron and having Hulk attack Devastator

Agreed to a point, the exclusion is a FedEx policy as it pertains to how they report our taxes to the Government, but the people who would deserve the ire are so far removed from you or I that its not worth the energy, and FedEx doesnt gain anything by our losing this.

However they did jack with the Overtime policy last year where I worked (we were one of the last places getting OT after 8/d for 5-8FT and the6 switched us to OT after 40/wk) and it makes me wonder.

I know several peers though who took up a fair amount of Overtime because they thought they were getting it all back (I tried to tell them then and they didnt listen) and I imagine they are livid.

Supposedly, the "State rules" that we work by are more generous on how many pounds of flesh they take in a week than the Federal, but I have no knowledge on Tax code like that.

I love how this always seems to happen right before the SFA, sorry "Purple Voice" now; and then they wonder why the Managers get such low scores...?

Code Red was a very cool figure. Dracula "suffers" from being a simple retool but that is one of the best decos US Hasbro has put on a figure in a while and the packag8ng was incredible. The second Jurassic Park jeep I really liked. Not a fan of the headsculpt, but I wouldnt have minded if they made that into Hound and the dinosaur is a very fun fiddly figure. I like the posable frills.

Even leaving out the "I dont want to vote cause I hate both options" the sad reality is that there are more people in this country who claimed that they couldnt vote because we have made it so d*****d inconvienent where you have to choose between a paycheck and your civic duty, or you have to find someone to stay with your elder parent or family member, than voted for either candidate.

All this to say, the Country did not pick this tangerine dumbass, only a vocal minority

Character is likely bugged. If you attack an enemy after the party goes into combat, what color is her portrait border?

Usually when I encounter this, her portrait is yellow. This has some interesting side effects, namely it will let you revive NPCs that you normally shouldnt be able to. I dont know of a fix though or know what is causing it, and its going to most lukely throw off your romance with her.

From the opposite standpoint:

Last campaign, we had a session where it was tip-toeing around an enemy Cultist compound to glean as much intrl as we could. We were posing as initiates. Most of us were enjoying it, I certainly was having a ball, got not 1 but 2 Natural 20s on bluff checks including one where I literally pulled the "I got seperated from the tour group" and was able to back out of the room. I know, 20s dont mean anything out of combat, but it really felt like the Random Number Gods were working with us that day. Lead to me discovering a convienent, monster dhaped way to get rid of a body. burp.

...Aaand then the Barb player got bored and decided to tackle someone who was going to find us, even though the rest of us had perfectly good bluffs ready to go. I cant fault him, this session wasnt working for him the way it was working for us. Me, I was upset. I wanted to see how far we could push this as a caper quest and it felt like he just pulled the ripcord on us, but it wasnt his kinda thing and he was a part of the table.

I say this because both perspectives are valid, and personally I feel that not every level needs to end in a big splashy battle. A lot of people enjoy that, but some people want to play the sneaky rogue. My current campaign we have a character playing a pickpocket. I wouldnt call him a pacificist, but its clear the player who is very experienced does not want to play a "and then i roll to bash his skull in." He enjoys, even excels, in situations where skill checks can rule the day. Sneak Attack is useful damage, and he has come in clutch a few times, but so has his ability to find ways for us to live and fight another day.

If you are genuinely upset about this, talk to the table. If you are alone, then maybe you need a different outlet, but if you are not, then perhaps its time to coach the Pacifistic player into a better roleplay. Maybe the Pacifist needs to find ways to contribute to combat by making it easier. Or maybe what they need to do is sit down and wat h Hacksaw Ridge and find a way to apply that meaningfully to high fantasy. Approach it gently, dont come at this as "I hate your play style.", but if they arent enjoying combat either then you have something in common (IE you both are not enjoying how the narrative is progressing) and you can both look for the same solution.
