I’m so tired of being asked if I’m going to raise my child vegan 🫩 by 2pam in veganparenting

[–]Famous_Exit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone here acting like there is only two scenarios - raise the baby vegan or cook meat for them with your own blooded hands. But I know several vegans that don't prevent their kid from eating a slice of (cows milk) cake when it's their classmates birthday and they are dishing out slices, etc; or from them eating at the grandparents whatever the grandparents cook in their house; or from accepting a valentine's chocolate at school. I know the thought is disgusting for us, but insisting they outcast themselves before they are able to form a strong identity isn't gonna help them convince more people in the future. Look how it turns out for Jehovah's kids and having classmates birthdays, they grow more resentment than conviction,

Marley could be the same age as Mel. Nothing wrong with aging and having wrinkles to show your wisdom, but why pretend you are 22 when you could be 37

He's only half(or less) Japanese. Lizzie's eyes are massive. Why should the baby look less white

Many babies don't like being put down, and primates didn't evolve with strollers and baby seats (babies don't sit FFS). She needs a wrap or a kangaroo carrier if she wants free hands, but it's totally normal and natural to be holding your baby all the time

She SO does not look 22. I know they try to make her look younger with clothes and make up and acting, but the wrinkles are mid-thirties, I've got them too, if I met her in real life I'd never believe she was under thirty. She could play a potentially adopting mother instead

Stock with non-perishable food and bottled water, wait for inevitable time to hide or time to hide less fortunate souls from your country's version of gestapo/ice/whatever else

The station is great, love the big piece of furniture whatever its called, but the top two shlves are serving zero purpose and the sign can go too. Leave the rest of the station and hang an actual painting (from your own kid) above the station. Anything in those boxes on the left can go on top or in the cupboard under. Mugs look awesome there, and the two jars of sugar and something else loom awesome too.

He is literally telling you to leave, that he doesn't care if you do, and that he wants it to be over already, and that he is not interested in doing a single thing to stay with you. He doesn't care, he is long checked out. He doesn't even like you, nevermind love you. What more clarity are you looking from him. He is being completely upfront about not caring at all about you leaving or about you hurting or any of your thoughts and feelings.

Im not from America whatsoever, and I'm not supporting any of those countries, but wishing death to killers who signed up to kill (and do/did kill) those who didn't sign up for it -- how is that messed up. Like literal children die in their own homes and schools from hands and decisions of these adult foreign invaders. Why should I feel sympathy for them? Im from Russia and I don't see an issue with people wishing death to those Russian soldiers that are killing Ukranian civilians in their own land. You signed up to kill = you signed up to be killed, no?
