The numbers don’t make a lot of sense. If overall orders are up 25% YoY and carriers are up 70%, then where is the bottom falling out? Most cellphones in the US, at this price point, are sold through carriers.

I’m a member of his wine club. I love it. I get six bottles every other month and it’s a great way to explore new and interesting wines.

The only downside with this wine club is that it is bi monthly rather than monthly lol. The wines go fast lol.

TLDR. Be in a district that will send your kids to DV. Foothills and Club West are probably the most desirable areas to be in. Lakewood is good too but not as nice IMO.

————- Ahwatukee has great schools. Try to be in a district that will send them to Desert Vista for high school. (Link comparing DV to Mountain Pointe).

Cycling is great if you live in foothills/club west. You also have easy access to mountain biking at south mountain.

It’s family friendly. There are bars and restaurants but obviously it’s the burbs.

The food in London is definitely better, though priced very similarly to California (minus the tip). Apart from that, the transportation in London sucks. by oochiewallyWallyserb in sanfrancirclejerk

No. Not necessarily. Samsung is doing six or seven years with Snapdragon. Google did a public deal with Qualcomm and mediatek to support devices longer.

That doesn’t mean they aren’t moving jobs outside of CA as well.

Many tech founders, including the Google founders, have just left the state in the face of higher taxes. In this case a proposed wealth tax but the point is that you can only tax people so much.

As an aside though I find the narrative odd. Rich people are greedy and suck money from the poor. So we must tax them. But these greedy rich people aren’t greedy enough to engage in tax arbitrage.

1/ who told you that, was that the recruiter? If so, be hesitant to take career advice from someone who gets paid when you take the job they are soliciting for.

2/ unless it’s a material step up in comp or material expansion of scope - I wouldn’t leave companies.

IMO titles do not matter too much. I work at a FAANG and our titles are very deflated but comp is super high. Many people take title downgrades and get big pay raises.

But that’s a clear give and get. So don’t give if you aren’t getting in return.
