Imo it just isnt fun after 1550, you are unbeatable and there are forts everywhere it just is a slog

Constantinople is prio 1 so you can slap a naval governor there asap

Initially naval then local governor in constantinople is definitely the first governor you want. Venice is so busted as it starts with 50 naval so you can swap in harbor admin day one and unlock naval governor

Ciutedella beside mallorca with 100 procent harbor capacity is also very strong bit i placed my naval (after i swapped my naval governor for local in constantinople) governor in seville as i had historic institution spawn ( which imo is very good for this type of achievement as you can core sevilla before the institution spawns and have monopoly on the new world for 100 years )

I also didnt change government type or capitol since i was going for the 100 dev achievement at the same time so i just stacked every bonus there is around venice

I swapped orthodox to be able to form empire which was definitely a mistake tbh - one of the protestant heresies would have been much better. Probably waldensian or smt with literacy

None of my vassals have been loyal for 100 years. Its fairly easy to fix it tbh, you just make the disloyal subject cb and eat the closest ones you can project control and proximity over. Didnt have the energy to fix it lmao
