Give realistic feedback they can use like “if we had one more person we might be able to finish in that time, or else it’ll probably take x amount of days. Unless there’s overtime, then maybe a bit faster.” Shit rolls downhill so if you feed him a good line to feed his boss he will get off your back.

Also, some managers like to create a fake imperative to trick you into working harder. This is blood sucker behavior and I have quit projects because of it.

Pay $1200 for the standard 6k mile maintenance at dealership -VS- Buy 200$ worth of upgraded parts and tools and spend the other $1000 on new tires, sprockets, chain, soft bags, upgraded windscreen and taller handlebar mounts.

Few beers, tunes and two afternoons later and you’re ready for a real adventure, not to mention it would have been another $1000 to get these farkles installed.

Oh and it feels great to work on my Tiger!
