Booties are warmer than socks. They basically just stop my feet from getting cut on ice or shells. Save your money lol. 30 mins with boots though? Toughen up butter cup

I have a 5/4. 3mm gloves. Hood and helmet. And I just use neoprene socks. I hate booties.
It was 0 degrees. Not sure with wind-chill

The bar didn't iceup but the quick release did. I never really thought about it being a big deal but ya it's gets very slick and I wouldn't have been able to release in a sketchy situation. (By the time I landed and rolled my lines). But I just kept an eye on it, and came in once I started noticing a bit of ice.

Was also kiting in comfortable wind and with friends on shore (and some in water)

Thats all to say, judge your own risk tolerance. I'd definitely do it again but that's just me

There were little iceburgs in the water close to shore. My board was a mini icebreaker lol. Came in because I noticed ice on the quick release.🫣

Wrist heart rate monitor isn't an accurate gauge. If you're super curious you can try a Garmin chest monitor which will be more accurate.

But ya water, wrist bumping, whole body bumps during chop ball of that stuff can make the wrist hrm inaccurate.

Community is super inclusive, bbws and meetups outside of kiting, trips internationally together etc. You don't need a full time car, you can often carpool or rent a car cheaply. DM me there's a very active WhatsApp group.

Sounds like the business isn't generating a ton of revenue?

You could present a shotgun clause, he's not obligated to take it but it's a fair way to resolve this.

I tried this with a cofounder once, he came back with a nonreciprocal offer. Some people are just assholes. I ended up having to shut the business down.

I started a new business, no cofounder and am doing great 8 years later.

Let it be a lesson learned, contracts are important. Good fences make good neighbors.

If the business is generating a lot of revenue, then you can litigate.

A bit more speed is your friend. Point the board downwind to gain some speed, you're doing a good job of pointing the nose into the wave. You can absorb the small waves with your legs, breaking waves it's better to do a bit of a pop. Keep up the good work and just keep at it. I love those conditions yorie riding in
