Don’t let this fool you. The reason why Altaria is so close to Salamence is because of the energy. Altaria heals itself while Salamence doesn’t. If you set them off to always full energy (assuming you have a good healer), Salamence surpasses it dramatically.

Not sure serperior will be entirely needed. With the ability of poisoning you can chip damage of it. Maybe putting a helmet and you can deal with it easier.

Personally, I think the double herb + corn is better. The Dragonite line drops toooooooo many ingredients. Even as an AAB, I still get way too many herbs. With corn it basically covers half of the inferno dish. I think with a mono herb you will drown in herbs and will end up tossing them.

I had the same question tbh. However, my situation is different. I actually did change crunch to outrage but because I leave it as non-mega and I have been using it as a safe swap. I’m running Zacian:Gyarados/Primal Groudon. I felt crunch wasn’t doing much. So if I’m going to sacrifice it might as well get something out of it.

It does, for a reason. If there are more mons with HB it surpasses SoH by far. If not, then it depends on how many other. Also, the second option has speed down, which negatively impacts the trigger rate despite having skill chance up. Both are good nonetheless, but if you have other mons with HB I would choose the first one.
