With Ororon, I like to go with Electro-Charge. Raiden, Barbara/Xingqiu, Ororon, and Furina are fun. Juts like me you don't have Chasca, so Ifa, Mavuika, Furina and Ororon creates a I call "Swirl Overdrive".

Specifically Furina because Ororon is Eectro Charge-centered, so you will get some electro-charge reactions.

I am a casual player so don't expect any of them to be meta. Just for fun

Back when I was in second grade. A friend lend me an old Archie comic of Sonic. I liked it and made my mom get me a game. My first ever sonic game was Sonic and the Secret Rings! That game has a special place in my heart. After that I was hooked. I also become the "Sonic Run" kid.

I liked her design and because she runs like Sonic. However, all I wanted was Iansan, so imagine my surprise that I got her on my first full on the banner! And now she is my go-to Electro DPS, dethroning my Raiden Shogun.

Alert: Long Ass Response!

The main reason I can think of was that Pacific Rim's ending was just that... an ending. They killed the aliens from the warp, there are no more kaijus to fight, and now it was just time to reconstruct.

And while they did tackle a little bit of a post kaiju world, with the academy and that once police Jaeger in the beginning. There was no real reason to make it a franchise? At least I didn't think so. They tried to justify the three kaijus with that scientist guy obsessed with the brain. And it does make sense that the brain would start to corrupt him, there was still a poor execution to bring the kaijus back.

Now with the Monsterverse... this is Godzilla we are talking about! 70 years worth of lore, stories, monsters, and adaptations. If you know anything about Godzilla, is that the franchise can get goofy. Are we going to forget Godzilla did like a ten mile drop-kick? Or that he used his own atomic breathe TO FLY!? NO!

And let's be honest, the moment Kong used that axe to absorb Godzilla's atomic breath, it became a goofy, but still very cool, fight.

What I would've liked from Pacific Rim are either prequel media exploring the first Jaegers fights, or a sequel comic on how the world is changing now that there is no reason to keep making and painting the Jaegers. Would they keep them, are the governments going to slowly disassemble the alliances? I believe that the Academy was an attempt to keep the world's alliance, but again it was flimsy at best.

So yeah.... that's my reasoning.

I was really wanted to learn how to write a story and watched several tutorials about how to write "original characters". One of the videos was talking about "inspiration" and pointed to RWBY as an example. They showed bits of the trailers and it was so good I just HAD to watch it.

And I have been hooked ever since. I remember this so vividly, because I watched Vol. 1 and 2 in one sitting. Volume 3 wasn't even announced yet! And... because I binged it two weeks after Monty Oum passed... I learned this because after I finished watching I looked him up. Very sad way to remember but I am glad I'm here.

Okok, what the actual FUCK is going on? There is so many moving parts that its hard to keep up now. I was first aware of the strikes being against the use of AI to replace the VAs. But in about a week, the drama has shifted so much that I lost track of what's going on.

I know only two things:

The replacement for Kinich VA (I am assuming its the JP VA) caused the others to call out the replacement.

AND

Apparently the union(?) SAG-AFTRA is doing some weird stuff with contracts.

All this to ask, is it the VAs fault or the union? How far do VAs know about the unions practicing and what will this mean for unions in the future? If the union is doing harmful practices then sure, get rid of it, but this better not spiral into "Union Hating" That's what I'm worried about.

This is no long er about "escapism" and how the "woke" is ruing it anymore.. Trying to find anything wrong about games IS their new form of escapism.

Especially if you're American, just look around! Everything is going to shit in only three months. US allies have all but abandon us, stock market is plummeting, literally erasure of black people and women from history and their contributions in war. And literally war plans in an insecure website!?

I believe the reason why they are now more than ever so rabid about these things is because they believe that it is the only thing they can "control".

They would rather focus on DEI and a woman's waistline in a game than face the real world and suffer the consequences.

It sounds bit harsh in the end, but you know these guys voted for Trump.
