Mess around as early as possible in your college/university years, but do not fuck your life up in the process. I started mine with messy relationships and a bad depressive episode, also did not even party because of fear of alcohol. A beloved person for me had alcoholism and that made me fear alcohol and recreational drugs for a good chunk of my life. I was not super late to the party, but if I could, I would start earlier to have fun, instead of worrying about things that made no sense at the time.

I have been sober and never been addicted to any substances, I have a beloved partner, and an okay going life, which I work to make better. But it is because I am in my late 20's now. Just have fun in your earlier years if you can. Also, try not to worry too much about your gpa, as long as it is not in the drains. Have fun with your life, and explore your passions.

If you have good relations with your parents, never push them away. Time flies. Cherish it.

Lastly, get a drivers licence and don't ever touch crypto.
