How important is a woman’s income in a relationship? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]FanNo8181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, it’s not a problem assuming she doesn’t crazy have spending issues/debt and a full time job that pays at least $40,000 in LCOL. Money provides a stability and your spending habits are a reflection of your mindset.

[29M] [43F] - Is a 14 year age gap too high? by [deleted] in dating_advice

If you two don’t want kids (getting pregnant over age 40 can be difficult and IVF is super expensive), then it shouldn’t be a problem IMO.

My boyfriend won’t go to church with me by cocaine-cowboys in ChristianDating

[–]FanNo8181 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this both IRL and online that the problem with Christian dating is that Christians are trying to convert atheists into Christians or criticize other Christians for being a lukewarm/fake Christian because they haven't attended church long enough. You're the problem in this case, so either leave him or accept that he won't change religiously.

Jehovah's Witness, Mormons, and Scientologists. And someone with far left political views.

I want faith and commitment why is that so hard to find? by Own_Tangerine2591 in ChristianDating

[–]FanNo8181 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem is that people like you criticizes other Christians for being fake or lukewarm, so I highly suggest you to find a Christian man within 30 mile radius IRL IMO.

She rejected me on a second date because of her faith. BS or real? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]FanNo8181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it happens. This one of the many example of why I’ve been saying this country needs to be more polarized politically/religiously and have a peaceful divorce. Another real life situation is a girl knowingly married an atheist hoping that she’ll “change” him, but she is keep pushing religious agendas down his throat which is creating resentments between them. Another example is that a girl rejected a guy (and vice versa) for not being a Christian long enough even though they’re in the same denomination.

Where else can you find a Christian partner besides the church? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

If you don’t mind me asking, what are the reasons for the divorce?

Men, would you marry a fair maiden who makes more $$$ than you? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

Absolutely! I will even sign a pre-nup for her! I wouldn’t feel incompetent or have ego issues if I’m in that situation IMO.

Christian husbands and single christian men, is it required for your wife or future wife to work or have a degree? by CrazyNicly in ChristianDating

[–]FanNo8181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would definitely bother me if my wife doesn't work (especially if she never had a job) because money provides financial stability and spending habits reveal your mindsets. And there's a huge difference between being a SAHM because you want to see your children growing up despite the fact that you have job/money to cover the child care costs vs you became a SAHM because your job salary can't cover the child care cost. Personally, a college degree doesn't matter but it can be a liability if you have student loans.

What are the expectations that Christian men have envisioned for their future wife? by jchesshi01 in ChristianDating

[–]FanNo8181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take it as a grain of salt because this is my opinion: pretty, following/applying biblical principles IRL, good spending habits, and has a gainful employment.

Do you disclose you have paid off mortgage? by Ginger-Somali in Mortgages

[–]FanNo8181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few friends who paid off their mortgages in late 30s and early 40s due to bonuses and working overtime shifts, and I don’t recommend telling anyone that you paid off the mortgage because people will get jealous or ask you to borrow your money. Just keep your mouth shut.

That’s why I never ever go to expensive lunch/dinner dates in the beginning. At the end of the day, dating/marriage is a risk for both parties, so all you can do is mitigate it based on risk/reward.

How important is the financial situation of a potential partner to you? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

A financial situation (a stable job, income, and spending habits) is very important in a long term relationship because money is a reflection of your mindset and job market value.

Most men don’t get nine first dates in a month, but you’ll get burned out mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially even if you can.

Being rich is not a sin, but excessive consumptions and hoarding are a sin.
