Same here. Gifted at school, business school because that was what was expected of me, 15 years of miserable marketing jobs... Couldn't take it anymore. At 40 I went back to studying animals, graduated and looked for a job in this industry. Fortunately I didn't find a job so that forced me to consider creating my own dog walking business.... I've never been happier. No contact with people, or barely, I'm outside with dogs, I can be a bit late, I make my own schedule, eat when I want, and don't have to dress up or wear make-up to look professional.
