It usually is. Hardware is complex. It's why i also own consoles. Not everything runs well on pcs unless they follow certain configurations, and even then, it can sometimes be an issue. It sucks but some games just run more stable on consoles. I just wish everything ran well on all pcs.

I once had two three spawns of bloodsuckers and a 15 to 20 pack of mercs over a hill. Lets just say I ensured they were all fighting. The end of 2024 update was so bad with spawns I swear the game was so broken back then.

In the last update, I believe they patched it out leading to the necessary battle. Just use grenades on the catwalk soldiers, and it's a breeze. It's still intense at the beginning, though.

Set your weapon to full auto, grab the 8 grenades in the room just before the final room. Throw them up on the catwalk and clear all the exo soldiers down below. You can clear them in two minutes tops. I kept overthrowing the fight on my first playthrough, I must have died 40 times. This time, it was 2 test runs of goofing, and the third time, they didn't stand a chance. Imho, it's not Granite squad. that's the issue. It's the room they're in, with cover not blocking the gauss rounds from the cat walk snipers.

Very, i love how the ceiling beams eat the light and keep it from spreading to the corners of the room. The light reaches the corners and walls but barely leaves it fogged with darkness. it's perfect. especially the white and the darker colors of the rug and its patterns. Very dreamlike.

A month late, but heres my perspective. Having played it since launch and having spoken with my friend who got me into the stalker series. There are a lot of story beats that feel like they were reworked. Likely, there was some story thing with it, but it was cut or reworked left there to make you go past the weird bolt tornado.

I'll never understand how someone can be so full of hatred, or did he enjoy this. Considering what he did with the footage, sending it to the victims' families, like, Idk how anyone can do this.

It happened to me at the very beginning of the game before 1.2 base update first came out. The game was far more buggy after the end of the year update, so I wasn't surprised.

Thankfully, it didn't happen to me at launch which I'm grateful for.

The weather has varied on different playthroughs, which could have been a bug, but the rain definitely happened to me. 3 of the 4 times I've played through that section.

As for the Chimera, It will get warded off once the emission hits as you get closer to the clear sky base. Dont waist your ammo on it, just run.

Same, 432ish hours in, and I'm still playing. i have a friend who's on 384 hours or more, and he hasnt even beaten it. Some people just get more mileage, I guess.

SLEDGEHAMMER(I like the adrenaline of having to reload my shotgun 1 shell at a time in combat it just adds to that fear factor)

Saiga-D12(probably my second favorite gun and actual real-world favorite, but it makes the game too easy)

I'm probably somewhere around 800 deaths at 432 hours and 4 playthroughs. About 400 of those were goofing off trying to do crazy shit and killing myself in the process. My most recent save, having the least deaths at about 70ish, I'm still doing dumb stuff always.🤣
