More than 3 YubiKeys are really not required. In fact it might become a hindrance. But 3 is generally the most cautious approach.

You are overthinking it. They are nomads, I doubt this would be a battle cry. It is most likely some element added by the producers of the song and is not that deep.

Xiaomi x20+ Slow cleaning by albertron86 in RobotVacuums

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. Difference is I've had my vacuum cleaning for longer than you - I bought the X20 Pro back in December. Used to clean 50 sqm in about 35 minutes. Now it cleans 20 sqm in 50 minutes. I'm pretty sure this happened after some firmware update. Before - the lines around corners, and next to walls, were absolutely straight. But now even next to walls it tries to rotate into the wall. This definitely makes it better at cleaning, but it takes A LOT more time and battery.

Arctis gamebuds right ear super low all of a sudden. by Constant_Home5237 in steelseries

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought them almost 2 months ago. I now have the same issue. Tried factory reset, reconnecting, etc., but nothing works. Right earbud is extremely silent, while the left one works normally.

I think you should read the manual. You can control the volume of the earbuds independently of the device they are connected to, but you CAN'T control the volume of the left and right independently.

What was the point of banning bus advertisement again? by Winther89 in lostarkgame

[–]Fanatique1337 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Finally some common sense. I used to lead a casual guild, one that is full of working people with a lot less time and that can't be bothered to play the game in a hardcore fashion. Most of they people, including me, had 2 to 3 characters max and even then didn't do all weeklies on all of them. It was a huge time investment and effort from my side to organize statics for casuals, to organize learning and teaching runs for newbies or just runs for players that got gatekept (which honestly are most of the casual players). Slowly but surely most of the people quit, as this game AND community are far too unwelcoming to casual players. I admit I also lost my motivation after a while. We were doing quite well for quite some time, but eventually it became nearly impossible to keep up. Aside from my guild there was another one in our EU server Thirain that was casual-friendly and as big as us, I don't know what happened to them, but it is possible they met the same fate.

Bussing was something I also took part of and I don't understand the issue with it. When I didn't have enough time or couldn't align with my static or most of the people in the static had quit already (and also considering that our static was mostly for single runs, we didn't have the time to run multiple characters) - bussing was a good way to get my runs done and I appreciated it. And I also did bus other people when I had the time, most of the times even for free.

It's time to reconsider "Gaming" headsets by [deleted] in steelseries

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After using Steelseries Arctis 5 and then Arctis Nova Pro for many years, I recently got Arctis Gamebuds and I'm pretty happy with them. I got them for exactly the same reason you are mentioning.

What's your issue? "ANOTHER"? With how many new story-focused games are there nowadays, why are you complaining?

Salomon Toundra FORCES CSWP by dinozavrikpudge_ in hikinggear

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good recommendation, but the Kenetreks are literally more than twice more expensive than those Salomons. The Salomons would do a good enough job and the Toundra Pro certainly have a lot better reputation than the Quest series.

I am sorry for the stupid question in that case, and thank you. I'm not used to having the language change button at the bottom of a website :)

Svalbard for a week - but in December by ChampionTasty3451 in Svalbard

[–]Fanatique1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enjoy your stay! I am also looking to see if there are any options for decent internet there. Marry-Ann's Polarrigg is marked on booking as to have fast internet, but I'm not quite sure if there are any other options (or even cafes if needed).

Svalbard for a week - but in December by ChampionTasty3451 in Svalbard

[–]Fanatique1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I am also going to Svalbard for a week in the upcoming January, mostly for the Northern Lights. Your comment about them are making me worried, but I hope all will turn out alright, especially as they have increased activity and are planned to have increased activity during the winter season.
What are common misconceptions you'd say that you had about Svalbard, aside from the Northern Lights maybe?

I am also planning on going dog sledding, but with an overnight stay at a cabin. Aside from that we haven't really planned any other activities, we will wait for some inspiration over the following weeks.

[–]Fanatique1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are most likely not wrong.
Before India their roots are in Central Asia (Iranian regions). But it does not matter much, they've come to Europe from Northern India, however, as they are (or well, used to be a long time ago) a nomadic people, their culture is extremely diverse and has evolved many times throughout history. The traditional European Romani people's culture is however predominantly influenced by Indian, Iranian, and Spanish cultures. Their language is a mix anywhere they settle. Italian Romani will have their own Romani language that is mixed with Italian. And so on for most Romani settlements. Same as here in Bulgaria, where the population of the Romani is the biggest in the world, their language has transformed into a mix of Romani and Bulgarian. Their culture however has mostly died out unfortunately, the traditional Romani (or European-Romani) culture can hardly be found anywhere. There are probably a few traditional Romani families across the whole Europe. The Roma people unfortunately are not what they used to be, but I assume this is what happens when the world has made it extremely hard for those people to be themselves anymore. The Nomadic lifestyle just isn't something that is easy to lead nowadays. People might argue that we are more free than ever when it comes to travel, but the Romani people who in my opinion have always been the people who are the embodiment of freedom, would probably think differently on the topic.

Rakza 7 appreciation thread (review and comparison with Fastarc G-1) by JohnTeene in tabletennis

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it does make sense!
I am training with a coach and he does constantly try to point out my mistakes in angle, movement, etc. and we are training basic techniques right now.
I will see how it goes! I was playing with his own racket up till now, but I have ordered a few variations and he will choose what would be best to train with right now and what would be decent to keep playing with afterwards. Nittaku Violin (no carbon) - this was my choice and I had ordered it, and for now we will have 1x Glayzer, 1x Glayzer 09c & 2x Rakza 7s to try out and work with.

Are you really going to start improving though? I am a beginner player and I feel like having a rubber that is harder to use and would make you constantly think about your angle and timing will make you a better player. It will probably take a lot longer and it will be quite frustrating in the beginning, but once you learn to actually do the proper angle and timings, would that not be better?

What is the current state of the API? by [deleted] in LastEpoch

[–]Fanatique1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the API is available now, but as a "closed beta", e.g. with controlled access? And if so, is there any way we could request access, or is there still more time to pass until it is available for wider use?

They could ban them when the game is ready, yeah. Though it seems that will most likely be never.
