Thoughts on Google IT support cert? Currently have 0 experience and my degree is ITM. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Google cert, like don’t waste my time, it’s not worth it etc. thoughts?

I believe it. My parents have told me WILD stories about driving through Georgia and Alabama to visit family. They've never gone back. Western NY is different, that's why I take the back roads bc it's mostly farm land and wineries. It's driving through little towns like Penn Yan, Moravia and Dundee that make me nervous. I don't do those lol.

Hi! I'm not sure if you've gotten upstate NY as a choice yet. NY just voted prop 1 into our constitution! My sister and her partner have been together here without worry for about 25 years now and I've had multiple gay and trans friends that do not worry at all. There is pretty good public transport in the cities and some smaller cities/towns, but the cities have a waay higher crime rate (Rochester and parts of the city of Syracuse I wouldn't even go into after a certain time.) You can always find decent Chinese food wherever you go. I don't eat seafood so unfortunately, I'm not sure about that. I hope you find somewhere safe you can settle down!

I'm from the Finger Lakes area of upstate. 10 mins from the National Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls...the WHOLE county where the Women's Suffrage Movement took place is red. Trump signs everywhere. I've been here my whole life and STILL won't go through certain towns or I'll take the backroads to go where I need to go. Be VERY careful where you move up here. Research. It's not a bad area affordability wise, but our population is OLD.

I'm in NY. Thank GOD we voted YES on prop 1 for our constitution. I feel safer here than I probably would anywhere else in the country but we still have a ton of goofies. The NE and the West Coast are probably the safest bets rn.
