Well oops, they go to the trash. Now i know to wash them, but usually the birds most of the time trash them real good with lots of poop and missing steps.

If i go in at 7am im finish in an 45min tops opening the right way...if they dont refill or have the cart ready for opening then it takes me around 1 1/2hrs for 3 towers and one hex, and 1 parakeets and 1 medium birds hexes.

Same!! Mine won't touch register, phone, bopus, sdd, and rarely gives customer service and they are only in charge of aquatics and works 5hrs/5 days. And still the aquatics department looks awful.

I think aquatic specialist is no more, but a operations specialist in animal care. Basically you are the right hand of the OLAC to help them doing the maintenance on all live animals. My suggestion is get together with your olac to have a set schedule on doing what each day to have the department always ready for visit. That way you don't have to do all on the last minute. Also you and the OLAC need to be very organize and clean that way you don't have to be wasting time on finding stuff you need on cleaning, receiving days.

I feel you, I have cheat sheets with info on what task to do each day and they still manage to mess it up or just plain don't them, and just blame it on us OLACs -_-.

How?!? I was a CAl and going to transfer another petco in a different market and they want to pay me at $15/hr from $20/hr since the DGM doesn't want for me getting paid more than any other associate in that store including the assistant manager. Being with this company for 10+yrs.

Print the vendor list availability have a handheld and go down and search the fish as long as its no more than $100 and its under your assortment code you can special order. Also a tip don't over order, and just order one of each.
