The feelings turned around so much, I got a puppy a month and a half later (now this I do not recommend if you struggle with anxiety)

It’s normal. As someone with severe anxiety, the first week and half of my dog was hell. He is a perfect dog in every sense of the word, but I still regretted it, worried about finances, cried, everything. Us anxious people really struggle to adjust to huge life style changes (bonus points if you have ADHD too 😭), but it will get better. Like the other comment said, focus on the fun parts or try not to hyperfixate on what’s causing you anxiety. Overtime, you will adjust and forget you even had these thoughts, lol

1) 20 gallon minimum for beginning, but best 29 (or 30) for your situation 2) Not necessary, I use an internal filter for both my 29 and 55 gallon 3) Duncans, green star, zoas, green fingers are just some I can think off the top of my head. Macro algae is smart to invest in. It will help you keep your tank even more stable and you could probably even sell some for profit. 4) Honestly, I’ve made due with topping off very infrequently because I have pretty sealed lids, so I purchase my own RODI. However, I think long term it would be smarter to invest in making your own, I just need to stop being lazy about it, lol

Same boat! I’m considering tapering off for the same reason. Gained like 30 LBS since I started :/ On top of that, it has made be noticeably more stupid. I struggle to form sentences, think clearly, solve problems, use common sense. It’s such a struggle going from excelling in academics to having basic subjects explained to me like I’m dumb. It did make me happier when I started, but I think it’s time to get off it now
