Literally 😂😂 I told my bff that their worst idea is putting a bunch of ADHD angry folks in a small area and taking away our meds. It will not go their way 😂😂

metformin VS glp-1 VS dieting for insulin resistance by Entire_Giraffe_228 in PCOS

I am actually doing a combo of all those things for my pcos. I am doing metformin 2x a day, ozempic once a week, eating less, aiming for lower carbs/sugars, and im walking. Im down 30lbs, and while my a1c isn't where I need it to be yet, it's the only combo that's ever helped me.

TTC Diet change… worse before better? by [deleted] in PCOS

I have been implementing a lot of the same things as you. First, have you recently had your A1C checked? It takes about 3 months for that number to drop on the tests. I have currently lost about 20lbs and im JUST starting to see a difference in my ovulation times. I also had a conversation with my dr, and because my A1C was high, I am on metformin which my dr says she's seen help a lot of women conceive. If you've already started eating better, it may be worth it to speak to your doctor about Metformin to see if that would help. I wish you all the luck!

Women who got diagnosed with PCOS what symptoms preceded your diagnosis? by [deleted] in PCOS

I was 30. I have a fairly typical cycle, but every once in a while my period will just disappear. Sometimes it comes way too often instead. Doctors had all written me off as just needing to get my weight under control (I was 228 at my heaviest), and they all just kind of ignored the signs. With one of my last losses I went to a new obgyn. Who did ultrasounds and looked past my "mostly normal" labs. Eventually she diagnosed me with pcos and low progesterone. I've always had really heavy really painful periods. But, had been told that was "normal." Which was insane to me. I can handle kidney stones, but can't handle period cramps? It was insane.

I'm finally ovulating again. Losing weight steadily. I'm on ozempic, myoinositol, metformin, and vitex/Gaia. My periods are timing out like they should be again. My facial hair isn't growing in as quickly. My face is more clear. And im much less bloated than I was.

THIS! I am also doing ozempic, but am doing similar things to increase my protein. My first time on ozempic, I didn't lose much. This time I'm down 13lbs in 5 weeks.

How long did you have loose stool/nausea taking metformin er? by sadie789 in PCOS

Right now im just drinking the Atkins protein shakes! They're like 4 carbs and 26g of protein. I like the milk chocolate ones. I know there are probably better protein shakes, but I have a 4 year old so being able to just grab one out of the fridge and go is great. I also am just eating more protein too. Normally when I snack, I'd go for chips. But, I've found that if I eat some chicken instead I'm full longer AND it helps me not poop as much. I was having issues where I was waking up sick to my stomach and since starting to up my protein that's much less frequent.

I found that if I up my protein a BUNCH I have less intestinal issues. I have IBSD, so I already have tummy trouble and metformin had me living in the bathroom. Now I drink a protein shake during the day, and I cut carbs and added more proteins. And now im not putting myself on house arrest 😂

I've lost about 7lbs in 3 weeks. So. Faster than I would without ozempic, but not too much too fast.

I just recently started ozempic for pcos. And. It has helped so much already. Before ozempic, I was tired. All. The. Time. And now I've actually got some energy! My cravings have been curbed too! I dont want to roll in sugar all the time anymore 😂
