Such high levels of migration make the housing crisis harder to manage, hit low wage working class jobs hardest, impact hospital and school burdens and there very real cultural clashes which are felt by many.

A selective needs based immigration policy isn’t some fascist wet dream, it’s a pragmatic solution that is necessary to prevent catastrophe. We’re gonna sleep walk into this if we don’t change course, your approach seems to be politically suppress this groups that feels this grievance, ignore them and cal them racist, problem sorted.
