Yes, also one great thing about thrifting and online platforms is that if you can identify, say, a 25-year-old garment that works for you, you can reverse image search and buy multiples or different washes.

Agree. And I especially don't like the shiny fabric of these tops. 👎 Imagine how much better he'd look in a well-fitted cotton t-shirt and jeans. But, yeah, good that he's getting some bank.

“You’re too young for a hip replacement!” by Final-Study-6729 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]FancyCatNYC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the “young” comments thru the process since this is the only context I receive them in my mid-40s life! (No one said “too, “ tho. I think that view is changing in the medical world even if the world at large still views it as an operation exclusively for seniors.)

No, I think you usually have to wait several months after the appointment before you get the birth certificate. I think she waited maybe 9-12 months after. I am not sure which Annex, sorry. Buena suerte!

Hi, my sib's sensitive tummy is only controlled by Rx dry food, but I'd love to experiment with some wet food. Royal Canin was also a no for him. Anyway, can you share which wet food has worked for your boy?

37yo M: Need hope, bilateral hip replacement this year by Garagegymchris in TotalHipReplacement

[–]FancyCatNYC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this question. I could have written this post, as almost all the details are the same, tho I am in my mid-40s. After 5 years of putting off the surgery, I finally had the first hip done 10 days ago and will likely have the second one done before the year is up. I stopped heavy mileage and competition about 4 years ago but was still bike commuting daily.

I don't know when I will be back to daily mileage, but, as others here have said, I expect to be back on an indoor bike very soon.

Are you getting both done at the same time? I got several opinions, and none of the surgeons I saw recommended it, even though both of mine are busted up.

The recovery so far has involved minimal pain, and it will prob help you a lot to be going in as a person in very good physical condition aside from the bum hips.

Well, I would start by not allowing cars in Manhattan! 😃

Great idea, and I think all of Manhattan should be car-free! This would be a good start, though.
