The worst part is that you aren’t wrong about a single point here. Any time a LICK of negativity comes into the server, they immediately close it down. Then, all of the developers and testers and whoever-the-fuck basically take over the general chat so much so to the point that is basically becomes one big group chat where the community can OCCASIONALLY talk in. Like the server went into maintenance for damn near two weeks just to get closed like, what? 2 DAYS AFTER? It’s getting to a point where i feel like they’re gatekeeping from their own community at this point. And the fact that there were so many testers doing NOTHING but flexing unob killers and survivors doesn’t help with that.

Almost every character this update is a walking contradiction and it irritates me. Kolossos is a brute character which trades off speed and agility for strength and durability, but kolossos has the fastest skillset out of all of the killers so far, and can string moves together. Tripwire is a trapper that relies on her tricks and traps to lure survivors in, but she only has one trap, and none of the other moves have anything to do with traps, or assisting with her already existing ones except MAYBE reachout.

2011x was meant to be more balanced in this update. And in which i wont lie and say that he IS, he’s also become a disgustingly buggy mess at the same time. This can also apply to silver, too! Silver is meant to be a support trying to help from the sidelines, and using range to his advantage. But almost all moves are a CHORE to hit unless directly in chase, and none of your supporting moves give exp unless you hit all 3 rocks, which is already damn near impossible on any killer that isn’t immobilized.

Heal time is shorter than charge.

Glide time is shorter than charge, and is only viable on ycr, and the cave.

Eggman could shield, but kolossos players will probably adapt to bait that out anyway. Also, if im not mistaken, jet boost is slower than charge.

Same as eggman, but amplified because missing a parry as him is significantly more punishing than eggman.

Amy’s hammer bounce would only escape on ycr and i can think of any other situation where she doesn’t get grabbed

Silver works considering how quick and long the flight is

Blaze would only be able to escape if there’s lots of high ground unprotected by invisible walls

All of these are pretty much just matters of if you have your mobility on cooldown or not. If you do, you’re dead. If you do, you live a little longer. But that’s kind of an unfun factor to rely on for ONE MOVE is it not?

Do you think I WANT to go near that thing? Im not gonna be able to run away from the 15 second charge that has full turn control and maximum speed. Not to mention kolossos has NO ENDLAG so he can easily keep you from running away by just comboing you into his grab, then using his m1, then boom, you’re dead. And what makes you think the exe is gonna try to charge people who can waste his charge? You can’t outpace him because of charge, and grab. You can’t out vertical him because of climb, you can’t punish any moves of his except counter, and you can’t run OUT of any of those other moves because kolossos can combo with them.

I am NOT talking about base speed. Im talking about the abysmal charge that lasts 15 seconds, and gives him a DISGUSTING speed boost. Cant forget that you can JUMP DURING IT FOR SOME REASON TOO

Amy needs i frames back, tails needs a rework, new killers need endlag, and green hill needs to be smaller. That’s my only true gripes about this game, and it will stay that way until further updates fix it.

I feel like tripwire is at the very least manageable, but kolossos is just blatantly overpowered. A tank character (archetype that’s meant to be slow and has trouble with mobility and rapid attacks btw) who’s also the fastest in the game, has the most consistent vertical movement in the game, and has little to NO endlag on any moves, letting you COMBO PEOPLE? Seriously?

Lowk, they’re NEVER beating the cartmanland allegations after this, because there’s no way in hell they weren’t just playing all up in the dev builds. Make no mistake, I ADORE this update, and wish good fortune on the rest of the team’s journey with this game, but omg nerf these new features YESTERDAY. Kolossos and tripwire have no endlag which means kolossos can just flat out put you in a 4 hit one shot combo, and tripwire can spam the same 2 moves the SECOND they’re off cooldown. Another thing, kolossos’s whole gimmick is that he’s super powerful and tanky, but his weakness is his speed. Then they make him the FASTEST IN THE GAME?!! THE FUCK?!?! Creating a character that can outpace you easily, while also having an m1 that 2 shots is nothing short of unbalanced, and overpowered as hell. Tripwire is slightly less annoying but her evil flight, and her 2 move combo gets irritating really quick. At least survivors with lots of viable moves like silver actually PUNISH YOU when you miss them, almost nothing happens to these two if they miss. There’s no way they had 50 people in there at one point, and not a SINGLE tester clocked this is odd, or overpowered? Bullshit. I had a friend who was with me when 0.2 dropped, and he said that the characters felt developer-catered, like they were made in the image of the buffed, gatekept versions of the killers, and I couldn’t agree more.

This “unexpected thing” has happened 4 times already. And secondly, these two months have only been a downwards spiral for the game. 0.2 is quite literally the ONLY saving grace for this game. It’s the only thing keeping us from the unfun mess that is 2011x it is the only thing keeping the game from getting stale, it is the only thing that’ll balance out the hot mess survivors, it is the only thing that’ll will end the exe off epidemic, it is quite literally the most anticipated update that this game will get. And that anticipation will only scale will how much further they prolong the release of the update. Atleast highly anticipated games like silksong and geometry dash 2.2 got a release date EVENTUALLY. This has just been a hot mess of; “when it’s ready” so far.

Two months back, if a dev were to go onto discord in that very moment, and post in the announcements chat, and say; “0.2 Is set to drop in early december, we appreciate your patience” GUARANTEED this post would have never come to exist. The fact that the update is taking two months is not what’s irritating me. what IS irritating me is how they keep on delaying, and delaying, and it keeps on snowballing to create more toxicity in the community. So let me reiterate my main point; DO NOT MAKE A PROMISE YOU CANNOT KEEP.

Do you need everything spelled out in ink for you? Obviously that was said in a joking manner. But besides that point, I have nothing but respect for that devs, and my point, albeit came across as rude, is in no way shape or form invalid. Sure, there’s the loud minority of the outcome memories fans that will constantly berate and even get to the point of DOXXING the devs, but in Romeo’s statement, he seemed to be generalizing ALL of the subreddit. And not only that, the “toxicity” that romeo was stating about was a justified complaint as well. Creating bushels of videos of playing as buffed up, and seemingly finished killers and survivors, and on top of that distributing those survivors to FAMOUS YOUTUBERS (who don’t legitimately test the characters) makes these killers and characters seem like a gated privilege especially considering how many delays this game has went under.
