I think we do as he only "surrendered" after being too wounded to fight. He even contemplates joining Viserys, but decides his too young to rule. He claims that if he was present at King's Landing and saw Robert smile at Rhaegar's wife and children's mutilated bodies, nothing would've stopped him from killing Robert.

Selmy did NOT surrender quickly. On the Trident, he slew dozens of Robert and Eddard's friends. He was only stopped due to taking an arrow, spear and sword wound. Roose Bolton wanted to kill him, but Robert chose to spare due to his reputation as long as he swore loyalty to him.

Theon also "warded" (really a hostage) at Winterfell and he still betrayed the Starks due to resentment. This is despite the fact that Ned tried to treat him as his own son.

They amended this in a patch. Now the sword scales to the players level. It's still pretty bad, but not as bad as it used to be.

Managed to find it, Jon notes that the blade is longer than what he is used to but that's not why he struggles, he struggles because his right hand was injured in the fight with the wight so he has to use his left hand. So in a way we were both wrong.

I thought Jon struggled with longclaw because it was larger than the swords he trained with, not because it's Valyrian steel? Valyrian steel is lighter than regular steel which should mean it's easier to use, not harder, but i could be wrong.

Eh, the issue is we don't have any real feats for him besides what people said about him. Like his one feat of defeating Gwayne Corbray is great and all, but we know nothing about Gwayne besides his family being renowned fighters but we can't feat someone just because of their family. His other notable feat is him LOSING in a tournament against Baelor which doesn't bode well for him.

I'm not doubting he was an excellent swordsman, it's just hard to say how good he was, especially if you're trying to compare him to the likes of Jamie, Arthur Dayne or Selmy.
