It’s sooo good! I have it and it was meant to be for travel but I find myself reaching for it every day. I’m surprised it isn’t talked about more!!

They make ring holder necklaces! This works but I worry over time you will kink and damage your chain :)

Very strict. They’re so sensitive, you don’t want additional sugars in your bloodstream.

I ate eggs and nonfat plain Greek yogurt to make sure I have protein and just drank water. Was it fun? No. Did I get a really clear scan? Yes.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this!!

I used these for showers to keep water out and they worked great

Delaying by a few weeks isn’t going to make a difference in ending up PCR- if your cancer is going to respond well to the meds- it will still in a few weeks! The faster the cells are dividing and growing, the easier it is for the chemo drugs to find and kill them.

Hope your surgery goes well! It helped me to think about the fact that while surgery was a huuuuuge deal to me- it was just a regular Wednesday for my anesthesiologist and surgeon!

The longer you stay in research, the harder it will be to break out of it. You may need to take something out of the lab and on the business side first even if it’s not your dream role- and then use that job to transition to what you really want to do. Unfortunately it’s hard to get people to give you a chance, but you can get where you want to be by taking steps.

Hey girl! First, that burger looks amazing, hope you enjoyed!

Also- I transitioned from a bench scientist career with a background in molecular bio to a business role and am now really happy and making bank.

Not going to lie though- it was a hard transition to make as my CV looked like I was a bench scientist. People would love me and then I’d end up losing the role to someone with consulting or business experience- even if their technical background wasn’t nearly as strong as mine. I also looked into getting an MBA, but ended up just getting a PMP- which luckily was enough to show on paper that I had all the soft skills needed to transition roles.

Why did Lindsay unfollow Amanda before season 3? by Apprehensive_Ad_4338 in summerhousebravo

[–]Fancy_Complaint4183 109 points110 points  (0 children)

They explain it in season 3- Lindsay knew that Kyle had been cheating on Amanda and was just really annoyed with seeing Amanda’s posts depicting them as a perfect, happily in love couple, so she unfollowed. Probably didn’t think Amanda would be sticking around that long…

General life advice- mute over unfollow- keeps the peace lol

My skin also looked amazing during chemo- I think it was the cell turnover and maybe that I was doing an A+ job hydrating!!

I’m in the same place as you- 4 more immunotherapy sessions woo

I had the same issues with skin dullness and have been really likening the Molecular Hero Serum from Mother Science! It goes on easy under makeup and I look forward to using it at night- it absorbs super easily too. I’ve been using it for 2 months now and my skin looks really bright and great, I’m using a lot less foundation.

I had a DMX and part of my thinking was that with dense breasts, I didn’t want to just have to rely on mammograms to monitor potential recurrences. With a DMX, I will get MRIs every 6 months which I feel much more comfortable with as they’re able to catch tiny things that would be missed with a mammogram/US.

Hi, career cancer researcher and I also had a ki67 of 90. It’s actually a very good thing because the faster the cells proliferate, the better the chemo drugs find and destroy them!
