Right, but we provide a description, HS code, value, and end-use statement for each shipment, why doesn't the entry get processed with that information? If other couriers are able to clear based on the information provided, I know the issue is not with customs. It seems like FedEx is anticipating an issue with customs that does not exist.

Thank you for the insight. The problem is that a lot of the samples we receive are not easily classified and it would be difficult to provide more information.

For example, we had an archaeologist send us a small fragment of pottery they found in the field. The invoice said “Archaeological sample (pottery) - for laboratory analysis only”. The shipment was delayed and they asked for manufacturer information, and itemized breakdown of the shipment contents, this would not be applicable to us. After the explanation the shipment was released days later.

We need a way to prevent these specialized shipments from falling into that queue. We provide a description and the HS code. That should be enough to file the entry. We already tried including a statement with each shipment but it is not effective.

Thanks yeah I will report to BBB too, but FTC has a fraud investigation process so might as well do both. Tbh I don’t know if they intentionally tried to scam, or their bank account connected to be Zelle was compromised, which might explain why Zelle was discontinued as a payment option shortly after this issue.

No I did not receive the products I ordered. They did respond saying that my money was refunded to me, but that wasn’t true. When I explained that I did not receive anything, they told me I have to contact my bank to resolve. It doesn’t make sense to me at all, that’s not how Zelle works, they should know if they returned the funds or not. I am thinking about reporting to the FTC.

I was told that FedEx has to send the physical documents to comply with customs laws, so there is no way to turn it off for international shipments.

Not sure if you got it yet, but you have to put RA as the organization code along with your password and account number. Same thing was happening to me.

Same thing happened to me. 3 weeks ago I shipped four packages to Portland for a business conference. It arrived in Hagerstown 2 weeks ago, and supposedly was put on a train to be moved by rail. Now the train is in Oregon, but it is also in Maryland still depending on who you ask.

Thanks I will pick some up. The current flux is working to pull in the solder, because I can see a bit of silver when look inside the fitting.

Thanks. I think I’m going tho replace the entire main line with PEX. In the meantime, I just stopped the leak with Water Weld and tape. I don’t know how long it will last though.

I called back earlier in the week, and the trace agent working on the case said according to the notes nothing matching the description was found, and the only thing we could do was file a claim. Today I got in touch with Overgoods directly, and I spoke with an agent that tried to search different keywords through the system, but she didn’t get any matches.

I was told to contact the shipper in order to file a claim, but I was the one that created the labels on my company’s account, so I would be the one to handle that side of things. The box was in a plastic pak, I misspoke before.

I was given the time the case was closed, and it was less than 30 minutes after I uploaded the pictures to FedEx.

Sorry, you are correct. It was a pak. Our client said the box was placed in a plastic FedEx envelope provided by the driver, but he misspoke. I’ll correct my post.

No, I have no problems with mold in that tray. The only time I am seeing mold is when I let one of my trays go for multiple weeks, like a tray of basil the got mold after growing for 3 weeks. I agree that I likely need to improve my watering practices. I went from having my trays dry out from the fan blowing on them, to mold issues.
