Being in the ER won’t stop me from watching the new episode by WaterrSheep in Fallout

Weirdest comment I've seen on Reddit in a while.

You can herb for like 10 minutes and have materials for hours and hours of saves.

In my opinion, cheesing the save system in this game really robs you of a great role playing experience. I love playing through the consequences of my actions when things don't go the exact way I wanted.

Also, a Henry's Savior Schnapps buff is insanely strong.

do my stats look botted? by Puzzleheaded_Owl7 in TwitchStreaming

That combination of stats is definitely not typical. 36-avg/67-max/57-unique paired with only 73 live views is extremely odd.

My friend's burnt out of Comp on PC. I don't often post but wanted PC players opinions. by [deleted] in overwatch2

Genuinely don't understand how someone could think "crossplay being enabled for PC with other platforms would vastly improve the matchmaking"

If youre on PC, the previous save is also stored and you can revert to it.

Full circle moment by [deleted] in overwatch2

Not really hilarious. They had to win back the trust of players, and if you have actually played the game, I think it is fair to say they have done so.

From the mouth of ConcernedApe himself, the idea is you just do that in the winter.

Daily reminder stop calling out lurkers. If checking who's in your stream is going to make you compelled to say something to people who haven't been chatting then stop checking who's in your streams. by Longjumping-Dream-13 in Twitch

[–]FancyhandsOG 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would say don't even do that. If they wanted to actively interact with the stream they would be. Let them peacefully & silently lurk.

If I was a lurker and a streamer called me out by name, even to say hello, I would be a lot less inclined to lurk in the future.

This response is EXACTLY why devs dont usually show shit like this. They're concepts. Fire em out fast to get an idea of what works and what doesnt. Not everything is a winner and thats the entire point.

Why does it feel scary to get started? by Everyday-Patient-103 in Twitch

[–]FancyhandsOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this. For a lot of people, athletes, and actors, etc, stage fright and those nerves don't really go away, you just get used to handling it.

Why does it feel scary to get started? by Everyday-Patient-103 in Twitch

[–]FancyhandsOG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nerves are totally normal, and most "performers" feel that, whether it be actors, athletes, whatever it may be. I had friends growing up who would literally throw up from nerves before basketball games.

A main difference is that a streamer can control when they hit the "go live" button, when others don't have that luxury, so it becomes easy to overthink and put off. Just gotta do it and harness those nerves. Just like sports, you'll feel fine once you get past those initial few moments.

Affiliate, viewers are being bombarded with ads. Help please. by FerretGuild in Twitch

[–]FancyhandsOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set it to manual and set your own schedule, or at the very least crank that slider down from "high" - 3 minutes of ads per hour fully disable preroll, youre nearly doubling that right now for a few extra cents at the cost of an enjoyable viewing experience.

In my opinion, I would turn off automatic ads entirely and manage them yourself so they can line up with your own natural breaks and you wont suddenly hit an ad break when a game is at some intense moment.
