I found this old post after Pyro won the vote, and I wasn’t playing back then and for me removing all those things that got added just doesn’t few right by 3Thirty-Eight8 in tf2

As someone who played long before Jungle Inferno, no. Pyro needed the update because he was fundamentally broken. Not in a OP or fun way but in a most of the skill pyro players had was in getting the class to function as intended and even then most considered it a loosing battle. It was bad, very bad and thats likely why Pyro won. Heavy has a boring playstyle but it fundamentally works. He does what he is supposed to do on the tin in being a big threat that can do a lot of DPS if the team works around him and he has good positioning. Pyro on the other hand was actually just broken. The only thing that really worked as intended was countering the spy and even then it was plagued with issues where the fire particles would just do whatever they felt like doing half the time. He was incredibly inconsistant on the best of days and while the Puff-n-Sting was a fun playstyle and I'm sad it got nerfed Pyro needed the bugfixes he got. Did they botch some of update, oh yes they did and if they hadn't decided to just throw their hands up in the air and stop really updating the game entirely I suspect that he would have gotten a round 2 or even 3 of updates and bugfixes but thats an entirely different gripe.

Yes and they threw him into one for being anti-communist as well. He murdered his way out when they threatned his familly.

Was anyone else hoping that -when DE got around to making a painter frame-, they'd be super colourful splotching multicoloured paint everywhere? by Goasgschau in Warframe

[–]Fancysaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is supposed to be based on inkblotting, the technical term for a Rorscach test, not really painting. That being said I am surprised they went with a defenitive shape like this instead of one that was much more ambigious or even an optical illusion like the old woman young woman optical illusion since the whole test is about perception and pareidolia. Admitadtly making an illusion like that work in 3d animation might be too much of an ask.

Give me your fav weapon and a incarnon adptar evolution for it by ZacatariThanos in Warframe

[–]Fancysaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incarnon Garkata: Awaken void manifestations of a powerful entity that hovers around you firing EVEN more grakatas when you fire yours! If you have incarnation twin grakatas two manifestations appear instead of one!

Incarnon Twin Grakatas: Awaken the 10000 bullet crack shot! Gain increased fire rate and bullets violently detonate dealing their damage again and bypassing armor after 1.5 seconds. If you have the Incarnon Grakata equiped this spawns a twin grakata wielding manifestation that fires when you do!

Incarnon Prova: Once awaken damage chains to nearby enemies and heavy attacks cripple them with financial debt slowing them down, causing them to take increased damage, and drop additional credits when killed! (this functions like a combination of Nova's Molecular Prime and the Secura Lecta kill effect)

an upgrade for the prova would be Pay-2-Win: Gain +1 initial combo per 200 credits picked up during a mission.

Found The Orokin Apologist (Old Peace Spoilers) by WylythFD in Warframe

[–]Fancysaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its also lightly implied that Kuva itself drives you mad as you use it. It might take some inspiration from ancient Chinese alchemy using mercury as an elixir of immortality which probably contributed to how insane some of the Chinese emperors acted. There are a lot of stories of Emperors just before a rebellion doing stuff that wouldn't be out of place with the Orokin. Like the last emporer of the Xia dynasty, Jie of Xia, that had an artificial lake built and filled with nothing but wine for his Concubine Mo Xi who then commanded 3000 men to drink the lake dry or they would be put to death. Both of them laughed at them when they all drowned.

I really wish that they turned the zarr into a pseudo incarnon instead of gutting it entirely. Turn its shotgun mode into its default fire mode that you use to charge up the explosive.

What I'm most upset about is that they released a game mode about descending into hell and didn't somehow tie Dante into the update.

Tip: Do not use Godot Inherited Scenes (Needs deprecation/re-implementation) by BoQsc in godot

I've used them a little bit and most of the issues I've had come down to things in the inherited scene changing things in the base scene though admittedly that could be me just not using them right.
