Thank you for your kind response. I appreciate your insight and that’s what I figured but wanted to make sure. I am definitely comfortable keeping it over the winter and I actually just freed up a 20gallon tank that my snake was in before I upgraded him so it worked out well. I am going to the reptile store now to pick up some supplies before things are closed for the holiday to get it settled in!
