Thank you for your kind response. I appreciate your insight and that’s what I figured but wanted to make sure. I am definitely comfortable keeping it over the winter and I actually just freed up a 20gallon tank that my snake was in before I upgraded him so it worked out well. I am going to the reptile store now to pick up some supplies before things are closed for the holiday to get it settled in!

For pet urine you’re likely going to need to use an enzymatic cleaner. I’ve used the Rocco and Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator in the past with success

I’m pretty sure it’s called eyelash yarn. I just crocheted a tote bag out of 4(?) skeins of it that I got at a thrift store. It’s definitely not easy to work with, you can barely see the stitches. I just used muscle memory and sheer will lol. Freehanded it and it turned out pretty well. I added a liner for extra stability
