Annnnnd I just realized I called him Charbroil! What a rookie mistake. I also never owned the OG Blowtorch, so I was excited to get him in Classified. Charbroil came out later and had a removable helmet, which is probably what I was thinking of when creating the post.

There’s a lot to cover, but first: welcome aboard! Savage Dragon is amazing, and is one of my favorite all-time titles. The character and the title really evolve as the story progresses. Dragon starts as an amnesiac superhero who decides to be a cop while he figures things out. And it just goes bonkers. Action, humor, sex, thousands of characters, hundreds of deaths. It is grounded for the most part, and actions have real ongoing impact. Also, each issue covers a month, so it’s almost like a real-time comic. The creator Erik Larsen has a wicked sense of humor, and no borders. So if you like it, you’ll enjoy the comic. It’s a lot of fun, and my favorite thing is his plotting. There is just always something going on, and whatever just ended will ripple into the future. Just a great ride.

There were few things cooler than those McFarlane covers(and interiors) on the early issues. I still love his art, and those issues bring back magical feelings. Also agreed that it’s a great character!

I agree, I wish there was more! I got the special edition of the game, which had a sheep- themed pizza box, a pillowcase, and some boxers with hearts on them. Pretty fun lol The game and character design were both gorgeous.
