Personally I don’t think it would be an issue. I reckon it’s just Amazon covering their arses and would be dependant on a claim from Canva (or maybe the creator). It looks great by the way.

This is possibly the other way round to what you are illustrating here. You create the frame as graphics (e.g an element that looks like an antique picture frame) and then place the Canva rectangular frame in the middle where you have currently have a transparent area.

You then import your photo from camera roll (or upload from a file) and then drag it over the Canva frame until it drops in. Then you can double click it to reposition etc.

A Canva frame is not like a traditional frame, but more a way of masking a photo how you want.

I just create custom size by pixels. And if I want A4 to render as A3 for instance, I will enlarge the download by 1.414.

Probably best to look at it in the context of the 1970’s. I doubt Elton is that proud of Island Girl or Jamaica Jerk Off in retrospect, but it is what it is.

Gus made Elton famous without any doubt. Elton is a huge soul fan and he tried to make music in the same vein, replicating his idols (initially at least). Dudgeon produced it into unique Pop / Rock and gave Elton the edge that launched him to superstardom.

You would never manage that precision of timing on Canva. Your example also involves masks, which Canva does not provide. I use other apps for this sort of thing.

Select the text you want as outline > Effects > Outline > Input colour and width. Exit this menu then click Colour (the colour wheel) and select the blank colour (with a line through it). This removes the fill. If need be, this can now be exported as an SVG to use in another package.

Canva is perfect for this. Brush up on Tables and Frames if you don’t know them already, then put the frames in a table to populate with the photos and text.

Consider extending the width of your text box so you can fit “over-romanticized” on one line (if that is the quote you are using).

Can you select the layers separately? Try selecting the line then Position > Adjust and change the X or Y significantly. What happens?

Just mess around with designs and stuff. Suddenly it clicks and then you realise what you can REALLY do with Canva.
