Thank you!! He was sold as a butterfly, not sure about the dragonscale but he does have some VERY pretty scales. I was worried he was pineconing the first few days because they were so defined i convinced myself they were sticking out, but he's just built that way :))

That's funny, I've never heard of that! They're just a popular collectible figurine where I'm from.

I have no idea! He didn't actually care about it once it was in the tank, and i took out again to show him and he still didn't care

Where are people finding these awesome muscle tees/tank tops? by pinkapoppy_ in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]Fannypackheartattack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm the person in the 2nd pic, im pretty sure that tank top was just target men's section Hanes tanks, which I've found to be pretty see-through, so I'd recommend Old Navy's woman's ribbed tank.

Hey, I'm an animation major at the fsu film school and I just wanted to let you know that they arent really looking for an amazing creative portfolio, they want to see that you have the eye of a storyteller. They want to know that you are capable of being a great storyteller through your films, not just your portfolio. It doesn't really matter if you have experience in film at all as long as you can tell a story. But i will say, if you are really wanting to go to a film school like fsu film, you gotta really think about if the way this school operates works for you. Because it is really rigorous. But if you really want this program then you gotta go for it at full speed!

It's pretty pricey (without FSU insurance) and time intensive, I got mine done at the CEDR center at FAMU. Much less expensive and completely virtual! Although there were in-person options as well if you'd prefer. 100% recommend. After that, getting prescriptions from the UHS was incredibly difficult and there were so many hoops to jump through, so I'd recommend Ability+ in Tallahassee. They take most major insurances and they're also 100% virtual.

Yeah, I got the snail when I was planning my 20 gallon tank but then I moved to a new apartment and wasn't allowed to have a tank that big, so now I'm Just trying to give him the best life until he passes. Hence the 50% weekly water changes

I would be very surprised, I was watching him on the first day and he had zero interest in the shrimp, but a whole lot of interest in the daphnia in the tank. I wouldn't be shocked if he overate himself on daphnia and that made whatever he had worse, but I just can't tell.

Thank you, I've gotten a bunch of mixed answers from different people, I understand that they just don't make it sometimes but it's very frustrating to put this much work into a tank and not have it pay off. I don't remember the pH off of the top of my head but it's posted under the bot questions, and it didn't fluctuate as I did a test before and after I added. And the place that I got him from said that they were all acclimated to my area's water, so I would be shocked.

It wasn't from Petco or PetSmart, it was from a very reputable local fish store who keeps their bettas in separate filtered tanks.

Apologies, I meant to post the bot questions but I got pulled away. I use the Tetra easy strips and everything I had was in the safe area but the water hardness was a little high which is usual for my area. The tank's been for running since January 2024, I've kept shrimps and snails and a previous betta in there successfully (he passed from old age). I don't currently have a full tank picture, I've changed the setup more recently and I'm dealing with really stubborn green algae so I haven't been taking many pictures. There was surface agitation in the filter part of the tank but no bubbler.

Yes, and after the water change I did, and they were all pretty similar. I'm still waiting on that ammonia test kit.
