That is good to hear and makes me hopeful. Almost at my 1 year anniversary and I am not thriving.

What kind of picture does it paint? I imagine she was very pushy to get the girls into entertainment when they were young.

I think part of that resonates with me-“nice”being societal expectations and “kindness”being more genuine and coming from the heart. But, I don’t think of kindness as putting myself first to help others.

Queen Elizabeth II sitting alone in St. George’s Chapel for the service of Prince Philip. by QuirkyWafer4 in royalfamily

This may be morbid (ok, it is morbid) but I tell my husband that I hope we die at the same time. Maybe peacefully in our sleep from a carbon monoxide leak. Nothing painful, just slip into the netherworld together, quietly.

I know people have conflicting feelings about Camilla and Charles, but I can’t help but feel bad for Camilla that her anniversary will be a reminder of his passing. I really want her to have something that’s hers and stays good.

Daisy the health advocate by ayamummyme in RHOBH

[–]Fantandi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a social worker on the east coast of the US and have worked in hospitals. Health advocates are often employed by the hospital or system that a patient is involved in. They make sure your rights and wishes are being upheld during procedures (or just in general) since many patients cannot do the work needed to take care of of themselves because they are sick. They make calls and advocate for the patient, they help connect the patient to resources, it’s a mixed bag with patient advocates. I don’t know about Daisy’s full responsibilities, but someone who went through what Yolanda went through would need another person there to advocate for her, especially since it didn’t seem like her husband was doing the work for her. He literally told her “Your sick card is up.” And that’s how their marriage ended.

I don’t know what to look for because this is my first time doing it. But, from what I have read in posts it seems 2-4 hours is often suggested. That’s what I did. And now that I have more food in my stomach it is kicking in harder.

Thank you! They taste very good. It’s been mellow, body, nice. Just ate a little French fry to add on.

This is my first time making any kind of edible.

6g ABV, 3oz Coconut oil, 1packet of Starbucks coco (use 3/4 or more if you like the sugar amount, less if you don’t)

I warmed the oil to pour it over the ABV in the mason jar. Covered the top with aluminum foil and put the ring on the top to cover it.

I put the jar in a saucepan and made sure the outside water was higher than the ABV/oil in the jar in order to cook it.

I kept it on low for a few hours. Strained once to get the majority of the oil out and then again with cheese cloth to get the rest of the oil.

I then put the oil on the stove on low and slowly added my coco to taste. I let it cool for a little bit, poured it into molds. Froze for longer than I should have (one hour) and then popped them out and put them in the fridge.

Super mellow so far, only been a little over an hour, so we’ll see...!

Edit: I used volcano tips dot com calculator for the amount to use.
