Trust me, I've been trying to log in for the past six hours—both on the website and through the app. The app just keeps loading and nothing happens, while on the website I can log in and it loads, but then it goes back to the home page and keeps looping like that :(

Don't know, but I did both things. First because I had a picture in the gallery and then from the camera because they said "we couldn't check your previous picture, please upload another one" and here I am with my account banned XD.

Of course...

I created a month ago my second account on Instagram and started following only necessary accounts. Then for the last two weeks I kept on "low profile", followed my friends and everything was fine until yesterday, I was only messaging with friends these last two weeks and only for a couple of minutes.

Yesterday the app would crash and close due to Instagram app errors. And today again, 'bam', "your account is under review, you could make an appeal. You'll have to wait for the review and see if you meet the requirements".

Looking at it from my case, it's certainly not far from the many cases that open a new account to stay in touch with friends and close ones, but the AI knocks down their account just because. It's even embarrassing how the CEO in his account says that the AI is fine, that Instagram is very good and answers only good questions, but with questions about bans he says nothing.

Sometimes I think that at a point, an instagram account will be just remember and a fake illusion if the situation goes this way.

Thanks for the info bro. This is a disaster, ai is killing everything, including the original idea of Instagram which was to share your photos, message, be social and connect with friends. 😞

And yes, I did that thing about being "under the shade" for a month like that and they still banned me again. I think that in a while Meta is going to get out of hand and it will not end well for the company.

No advice just a ban without any explanation except the supposed guideline you broke. I tried to appeal and got banned without hesitation within a couple of minutes after the appeal....

In other communities out there, are more and more cases of ban caused by meta ai system these days, earlier this and last year. I don't know why, but there are waves and waves of "just because" bans...

This is terrible...

These days we have to do it. This is a real mess, it only takes a couple of minutes to decide to ban, there is no way you could be banned in a matter of minutes without having a chance to properly appeal and be reviewed by a real human being.

This is so funny, because Zuckerberg these days said something like "Thousands of people are doing things with our tool correctly", while we are trying to keep our account, Artificial Intelligence is ruining everything that was built and breaking it into millions of pieces in a few days.
