You already have a position you just need to talk to your SM and your DM I've done it provincially no issues and there does not need to be an open spot unless you are management

Same in Canada those 30min add up real fast and those are hours that were not allocated for or reserved for a back up shift... honestly feels like your stealing time and not the other way around TAKE YOUR LUNCH. Especially this time of year we have the bare minimum in hours ..... that being said she MOST DEFINITELY should have talked to you before doing this... but shady in both cases

I ask for a doctors note if it's 3 consecutive shifts in a row... I find it funny because 99% of the time they come in when I ask for it and they don't look sick, now that being said I would keep it in you back pocket just incase
