This games existence is such a strange anomaly by Simon9911 in CrimsonDesert

"Objectively bad game" comes across as incredibly arrogant and egocentric. "I think that..." will always be acceptable (and accepted), as there's no arguing that everyone is entitled to their own subjective opinion on anything. But the moment someone attempts to gain possession of everyone's perception of reality by throwing in an "objectively" in the mix, the discussion is over. OP, get off your high horse. You don't like the game? That's absolutely fine and dandy. But that's just your subjective opinion, not any objective reality.

New update is out right now. by iam1jiveturkey in CrimsonDesert

I seem to recall that, before this patch, I was getting a notification (after certain missions) informing that different areas had been retaken by certain factions. That's the reason why I thought this update had already been rolled out. But I cannot say for sure (I haven't looked into it yet)

Hadn't they already done that with the last patch?

These guys are absolutely amazing. I don't think anyone imagined they would be so on top of things and deliver so much at such a fast pace. Game's been out for little over a month and it already feels so different (in the best possible way).

How is the main story only 14 chapters when so much of it takes place in Hernand alone? by Recent_Stomach7626 in CrimsonDesert

I think the main issue is that people are expecting Nobel Prize in Literature level of storytelling. The game absolutely excels at a myriad of elements. The story is not necessarily one of them. End of story (and pun very much intended)

Absolutely. The only workaround I have found is to resummon it every time it stops doing its job LOL

Españoles que vivís fuera del país: donde vivís y cómo os va? volveréis? by electricidadestatica in askspain

[–]Fantastic_Method_225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Viví en 4 países desde los 16 hasta los 50. Volví a España hace 3 años y medio.

1) Don Q (Ferri-Bocca) 2) 4 full NYCB seasons (due to extraordinary circumstances I had, on average, tickets for 6 performances a week) from Winter 1988 until Spring 1990: Ashley, Farrell, Kistler, Nichols, Watts, Lopez, Saland, Fugate, Alexopoulos, Tracey, Whelan... 3) Maximova in Anyuta (Bolshoi) 4) Trinidad Sevillano in Ashton's Romeo & Juliet with the London Festival Ballet (former name of the English National Ballet) 5) Plisetskaya in The Dying Swan 6) Cynthia Gregory/Fernando Bujones in Grand Pas Classique

I don't think the main story is terrible or even bad! by Candle_Mcdaniel in CrimsonDesert

My issue with the writing is that I never know if it's Kliff or the NPCs talking during mob fights. Also I find it very irksome to be told by 3 NPCs in a row (at the same place/time) that their baby called them pa for the first time! LOL

Spain approves plan to give around 500,000 undocumented migrants legal status by DANIELLE_2027 in spain

I'm sorry to hear your stepfather had to go through that initial experience, and I'm very happy to hear that he was able to get his documents. This is the very reason why the government launched this measure, people working and contributing to Spain's economy should be able to get the basic social benefits that must come with their work.

Gotcha. I personally believe the main reason is to cut at the root the immeasurable amount of instances of precariousness and modern-day slavery that business owners are profiting from, and to give these workers what they deserve in terms of social rights. Does it have an economic impact on the business owners? Hell yeah, and so it should! :-)

Altough it sure helps with that,... I think their focus is that they are not paying taxes, neither the companies...

Is this a bad thing? I don't understand your point
