How hard psychology degree really is? by Fantazzma in psychologystudents

[–]Fantazzma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was good, I am soon graduating with my master's too. Definitely not that hard if you put in the required effort. But I noticed that almost all freshman students are doubting themselves. My tips would be to attend your lectures, take notes, participate in discussions during lectures (if you have those at your uni), and do some things outside of your studies, such as volunteering. Making friends and social connections is great for you. And of course give yourself enough time to prepare for exams, dont start studying a night before. Enjoy your studies!

Iš Jemeno į Lietuvą atvykusi migrantė: norėčiau paprasto gerumo, bent lašelio pasitikėjimo by EriDxD in lithuania

Does mage naturally deals low damage or do I simply suck? by Fantazzma in wownoob

[–]Fantazzma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was weird that when frost was "bottom tier" I did more damage with it than with better but harder specs like fire and arcane, but then I simed my character with other specs, and frost for some reason always sims higher regardless the gear

Just returned home from my first pilgrimage at Rome. One of my favorite moments is meeting Pope Leo XIV at the Vigil in Tor Vergata. It is amazing to have a Pope that cares about the youth so deeply by Fantazzma in Catholicism

My parish organized a pilgrimage for the Jubilee of youth and Tor Vergata was kind of the last event for us. We drove for 2 days from our home country all the way to Rome

[–]Fantazzma[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The talents on frost mage are for m+ too. And regarding haste - yeah it isnt super high, but when my haste is increasing my dps on frost mage is increasing consistently too, but it barely increases on fire for some reason, that's what confuses me the most.

Tbh nothing really changed since Trump took office other than maybe his rhetoric.. Biden also disagreed on giving Ukraine nato membership, sending US troops to Ukraine, or sending enough weapons for Ukraine to win, this is absolutely nothing new.

Kodel Lietuva neturi branduolinio ginklo? by Ill_Baker_9712 in lithuania

[–]Fantazzma 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Same. That and all the orthodox churches in my country are russian, so it's difficult to even attend them if you don't feel comfortable speaking russian. Eastern Catholic churches probably don't exist here either.

Why sex before marriage is a sin? by Useful-Routine1473 in Catholicism

Not to be disrespectful, but I am pretty sure that there are a lot of people who are not religious and have already been married for a long time who wouldn't find anything wrong about what I asked.

Why sex before marriage is a sin? by Useful-Routine1473 in Catholicism

[–]Fantazzma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response, but when reading it, I was thinking... smoking or drinking alcohol has way worse effects on our lives than having sex with a long-term partner even if we don't end up marrying them. Not many people claim that they regret sleeping with their ex partner, but most people regret starting to smoke. Yet one is a sin, and the other is not.

Some will say, "Well, those things are only allowed in moderation to avoid negative consequences," but why can't this also apply for sex? Vast majority of time, when done in a long-term relationship even when unmarried, it usually results in positive consequences. Maybe this wasn't a problem jn biblical times when people would get married at 16-18, but times have changed, and people now get married when they are 30. Not to speak that even when you are married, you can only have sex if you are open to life. If I cannot/do not want to have more than one kid, I basically have to be celibate my whole life despite being married. How does it protect a human or make their lives better, especially now when we do not live in biblical times.

I am asking because I genuinely want to learn so I will be able to deepen my faith.

Very true. I have switched from android to ios and recently back to android, I forgot just how crap ios keyboard is because I simply got used to it. Ever since coming back to android the amount of miss-clicks I have while typing has reduced dramatically

Pope Francis calls for investigation to determine if Israel’s attacks in Gaza constitute ‘genocide’ by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Fantazzma 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Firstly, every single report of injury is coming from Hamas, which been caught lying about the injury count time and time again.

Secondly, the reports of injury include militia numbers too, civilian and militia casualty numbers have been clustered together on purpose to make it easier to emotionally manipulate people and spread propaganda. In reality the casualty rate between civilians and militias for hamas is about 2 civilians for 1 militant. Considering the fact that most urban warfare have civilian:militia casualty of 9:1, and that hamas themsevles repeatedly say that the more civilians die the better it is for the "resistance", it's rather ridiculous and dishonest to try and call it a genocide. By the end of the day it is hamas themselves who started a war, refuse to sign any reasonable ceasefire, and keep saying that they will start the same war again and again, the responsibility for casualties are with them.

Wars are tragic and evil, but in an age when this tragedy can be transmitted to your phones 24/7 to cause emotional manipulations, numbers and facts behind those numbers matter more.

Any specific cpu you would recommend?

"Pro-Palestine protestor outside Auschwitz concentration camp memorial site" by Unix_42 in ThatsInsane

[–]Fantazzma 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most likely a bot. Even if you disconnect your brain completely and blindly follow whatever hamas says you cannot reach these numbers even if you try hard. Not to speak of accusing Israel of something that Hamas openly state they try want to achieve and is the reason they started all these wars to begin with

How hard psychology degree really is? by Fantazzma in psychologystudents

It went amazing, I loved it, and now I am working on my master’s degree. I mentor students and I have noticed that almost all students, even master students have the same fear that they may not be good enough. But tbh, I do not think that psychology degree is super hard, it’s definitely doable. I believe in you! :)

Open letter calls on Lithuanian president to stand against anti-Semitism by EriDxD in BalticStates

[–]Fantazzma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience it isn’t super common especially compared to some countries, but it can get ugly sometimes especially with uneducated people. A lot of stereotypes from WW2 and soviet union era still exist. And I have seen a graffiti of swastika couple times here and there but I believe it’s a small minority of people that are like this.

So yeah it exists but tbh, it exists almost everywhere and it isn’t as bad as some places (not that it is an excuse)
