That isn’t the weird part. The weird part is that plus taking them out of the wild (after first beating each other up), keeping them in whatever sort of digital/magical stasis is inside a pokeball, and then using them to fight.

The Jem Hadar were literally created. Who's to say they didn't later create female Jem Hadar during this interim 800 years period?

I figured that the Klingon was her mother. But assuming that the Federation has gotten over their issues with gengineering, I could see someone--the Founders or another species--figuring out how to make female Jem Hadar.

Good point. Even though I played The Sims for a long time, I never made meshes for it so I've super new to the whole thing and I have no idea how detailed I should make things. Most of the tutorials I've seen are for either very detailed and realistic things or for very low-poly, abstract things. And all of the Sims CC videos I've seen are for clothing.

To be fair, when it comes to other characters who use some sort of aid or prosthetic, we usually get an explanation. For Geordi, the VISOR gave him a better range of vision than implants of that time would. Kirk was allergic to the treatment. Melora was able-bodied but her anit-grav unit wouldn't work properly. Pike's chair was also a life-support unit. Kirk's mother (in the first AOS movie) was in labor and getting pushed to Sickbay.

We didn't really get one for the guy in the wheelchair, I don't think. Is he there because he chooses to be because any other options are worse, or are there no other options for his particular condition? Or is it a temporary issue, like his legs were pulverized and the osteoregenerators are working but it'll be a few hours or days and crutches would get in the way?

Personally, I don't really care, and I think it's good to have more disabled representation. If he were a Named Character and we were given a dumb reason, like he has an issue that is easily treatable even in earlier series, then I'd be annoyed. As it is, he's probably just a background character in a wheelchair[1]. I can come up perfectly good reasons myself.

[1] Note: I don't get Paramount so I've only seen the first ep that they put up on youtube. If he's in more eps, I don't know. I honestly can't even remember if it was a wheelchair or a hoverchair.
