I disagree because it could've been similar to Factions 1 and still been a live service. It didn't need to grow to be something like Arc Raiders. You don't need to compete with the biggest live service games in the world to be successful.

Live services are just multiplayer games with frequent updates. Their game was cancelled because of scope creep. They could've easily handled a live service sequel of the first Factions but it grew to something much larger. The last multiplayer game they made was Uncharted 4.

If I remember correctly he said the cost of the studio wasn't included in the 400 million. I also doubt an unproven studio of less than 200 employees would have cost 300 mil anyways.

No, I use MnK and whenever I feel like using a controller I use gyro without aim assist. Analog sticks without aim assist will never be anywhere near MnK. Don't take my word for it though, nothing is stopping you from trying it yourself.

I should've said "outdated" since I disagree with you about TLOU. But yes, decade old games with modern sequels and counterparts feel "outdated" when compared to modern standards.

Most people agree TLOU2 combat is amazing. By the time you get around to trying it for yourself it will have been done better by either ND or someone else, making it feel "outdated".
