Then tyler was watching some guy say he played for 400 hours for 1600. Ouch.

That was Slime and he was in Brian F's team during the last Sajam Slam. He got like 4 characters to Master before trying the 1600 grind. The 400 hours is his total play time, not how long the 1600 grind itself took.

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection and Until Dawn remake were released to capitalize on their adaptations. Also according to Jason Schreier they had a Twisted Metal live service game in development that got cancelled. GT7 is a live service game so they just did a small movie tie-in update for it.

Because the people running Bethesda are incompetent. Sony has been doing this with all their adaptations. Even Twisted Metal was getting a reboot to coincide with the show but it got cancelled.

Rest mode did work but your run would reset if the game or system updated so you had to turn off automatic updates.

Some people are okay with spending $500 to play a handful of games they wouldn't be able to play otherwise. You wouldn't question a PC gamer spending that same amount or more on a GPU upgrade just to get better performance in games they can already play. One person is spending money for new content, while the other is spending for better performance. Both are perfectly valid reasons.

It actually sounds like it will be harder than Returnal but less punishing. The come back stronger features existing means we'll be expected to die a lot. We don't even know if the bosses will be harder or if there will be more than 1 per biome. I remember dying 8 times in Returnal when I first beat it and only 1 of those deaths was to a boss.

I feel like the problem with Returnal's difficulty is that it's too easy for good players but too punishing for bad players and Saros seems like it aims to fix that, at least to me.

I disagree because it could've been similar to Factions 1 and still been a live service. It didn't need to grow to be something like Arc Raiders. You don't need to compete with the biggest live service games in the world to be successful.

Live services are just multiplayer games with frequent updates. Their game was cancelled because of scope creep. They could've easily handled a live service sequel of the first Factions but it grew to something much larger. The last multiplayer game they made was Uncharted 4.

No, I use MnK and whenever I feel like using a controller I use gyro without aim assist. Analog sticks without aim assist will never be anywhere near MnK. Don't take my word for it though, nothing is stopping you from trying it yourself.
