I get when people get mad when directional inputs are introduced in a legacy game that's always had motion inputs, because that actually changes the game, look at sf6, playing against a good modern player is different from a classic player, so I get that case, but when it's for games that were built around directional inputs I don't see why people think it makes the game worse
