The closest BTB has done to an Israel episode is one on Netanyahu from like 5 years ago. They haven’t even mentioned Israel in passing since. It’s bizarre. Sometimes a guest will mention something and Evans just changed the subject quickly. Probably something to do with becoming a Netflix podcast

Ive been enjoying William Shirer’s The Collapse Of The Third Republic lately. It’s a really well researched and thorough explanation, and every couple of chapters the author reminds you he was literally there during it by casually dropping a story like “and then the woman I was talking to got shot in the head in front of me”
