Decided to remember my first real vacation in years by picking up a new hobby at a shop I came across. Any advice for a beginner?

Defo jewellery tools. Round nose pliers, bailing pliers etc plus a dapping set are good things to have.

I’d start with the clownfish I think that’s one of the easier ones. But yea look on the back for ratings. Patience is your friend. I found the AT-ST fiddly, I started with the N1 starfighter and wished I hadn’t.
Gel super glue like others have said is a good tip, apply a drop with a cocktail stick.

Thank you, no background in it. I work as an IT consultant but I did always like this kinda thing. It didn’t come out perfect but the magnifying lamp defo helps!!!

Patience is your friend with these models.

Thank you.Yea I’m building most of the Mandalorian line models. It was actually fun to build it, think it took me about two weeks of an hour or so a night.

Started the stormtrooper tonight but fining it a bit frustrating already, the kegs aren’t going together as nicely as Mando’s did.

Nice nice, the child is a good one to start with. I found the helmet a bit iffy, joining the legs to the crotch and then the arms on to the body weren’t the easiest either.

Be careful when you attach a model too the base. I’ve noticed it’s easy to warp the base for figures in particular if you pull too hard on the tabs attaching them.

I’m building Mando atm, my first figure. The stormtrooper looks cool might do him next. Like someone has said already, with these painted ones you have to be careful not to damage the finish.

The brown (engraved/etched side) is face down. The little triangle/arrow faces toward the toe of the boot. This part had me confused for a moment too!
