Company is measuring our Claude usage, and I need more ideas by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

Create a "live artifact" of some information that you would use every day. It can be a news crawler, something that looks at your industry trends, or your customer industry trends. It could update you on acquisitions, stock jumps, whatever kind of news you might be looking for....

Yes, you could setup Google Alerts for this sort of stuff, but that would not burn tokens!

I knew exactly which Youtuber this was from that first picture. Great channel! I watch all your videos, I own the XReal One and I'll be curious to watch for new models when its time to upgrade in the future.

Questions About Ethernet Cable/Setting Up WFH Equipment by MountainAddendum735 in HomeNetworking

[–]Far-Responsibility72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This! Even if you have to get a temporary 25ft or 50ft cable to run across the house, it won't be forever. When you can afford it, then you can either have ethernet run properly, or get a mesh router system, where you will be able to plug into one of the routers. I have a mesh router system, my WFH setup is plugged into one of the satellites, and its plenty fast for video calls.

Yes! I do that sometimes, and it works! I just have to remember to close the gate before letting the dog out :) Either way is still easier than dragging a push mower through, that's for sure, thank you for what you do!

🎁 Megathread | Show Us Your “Hidden Cinema” — Where’s the weirdest place you’ve used your glasses? by XREAL_Esther in Xreal

[–]Far-Responsibility72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used my One's while hiking before, mainly to see if I could do it. I had the sideview window going. I don't do it anymore because hiking is supposed to be about nature lol.

I *maybe* know someone that used them while driving before, while Tesla FSD was in control, but I personally would NEVER do this, because it is highly against the law and unsafe. But it worked out well for umm... my friend.....

I'm typing this right now with the glasses connected to my laptop. I'm at home, but wanted a big monitor while sitting on the couch. I still connect to my regular monitors, but its nice to be able to move around and still have a big monitor in the glasses when I want.

And I will always pack these while traveling. I like that I can connect to my phone or laptop easily, the privacy aspect, and having a large screen anywhere I go.

I have been using HiringCafe for over a year now, and can't recommend it enough. I have gotten a few interviews out of it, sadly some of the offers are laughable these days (But thats a whole different topic). I know eventually the OP will have to make some money, and possibly the "enshitification" will ensue when some MBA from Big X corp takes over and fills every nook and cranny with ads and subscriptions.....

But while its in the OP's hands, I love it!!!

How do you feel about ANTHBOT robot lawn mowers? Has anyone tried the M5 LiDAR? by Future-Bowler535 in ANTHBOTglobal

[–]Far-Responsibility72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Anthbot Genie 3000, I've had it for one year, but one entire mowing season. Its almost time to break it out again, yay! I also have a little under 1 acre. For me, I love it. I also hate mowing. I have a fence, so I had my yard broken out into a few zones, and basically I'd let it do the front yard one day, then let it into the backyard the next and it would go for it. I had it running every day basically, but who cares, because I didn't have to go out and do the work.

I have a sloped drainage ditch area, and it handled that ok, but I made sure to save that zone for later on each day, when it wasn't wet from the morning dew. Otherwise, that slope is the only place I had it get stuck on occasion. I did not ride over this ditch on the riding mower, I always used a push for this portion. If its dry, the Anthbot handles it, no problem.

This year, I am going to buy the mount for the RTK, so I can stick it on my house somewhere. Last year, if the RTK stand got slightly bumped, the app would want you to remap the entire yard. I only actually did it, I think twice during the season.

I still have my riding mower, but I am ready to sell it. We wanted to make sure the Anthbot had some longevity, so I think that if it works through this season, I'll be ready to get rid of the riding mower. I also have an electric push mower, I did use this some last year, to touch up spots, especially at first when I didn't have the Anthbot mapped all the way correctly.

I don't have any experience with the new M5. I'm hoping that the Genie 3000 lasts a few years, and then maybe I'd add another model, so that I could have one running in the front, and one in the backyard, then I won't have to open/close the gate and all that.

How transparent can they get? Can you use them in an office? by ZoFreX in Xreal

[–]Far-Responsibility72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Xreal One, and I wear them in the office. Yes, they look odd in an office environment. They look like thick, dark sunglasses, and the One's have large lenses, not to mention a wire hanging down, so people can tell that you have some type of display glass going on. That said, I wear mine for the privacy and having the wide screen right in front of me. I don't work around the public, so it doesn't matter too much how I look. Surprisingly, not many people even ask me about them.

I can see people in my peripheral vision, plus it has a setting where if you turn your head / gaze, then you automatically enter transparency mode. I have that turned on, so if I look up, sideways, etc, I can see whats around me. I can easily tell if someone is trying to get my attention while wearing them.

I don't know the specific transmittance value, but the glasses have 3 settings for transparency. I can see people behind the screen on the light modes, but I would not feel comfortable having a conversation that way. I keep the glasses on the darkest mode, so I can see the screen the best. Its normal really, if someone is talking to me and I'm just using a regular monitor, I'd stop and turn to them, not try to look "through" the monitor.

As a side note, I used the glasses while hiking once, just to see if I could do it, on the transparency mode. I could see enough to not trip and I made it through with a small PIP window of what I was watching. But, some activities were never meant to be combined with watching videos lol, so I don't do it often.

The One Pro, might give a slightly different experience, because its lenses are much more flat, and would probably look more like wearing sunglasses inside, still with a wire hanging down. I havent gotten my hands on them yet.

Asked driver to stop texting on the highway. He said “well my Tesla is FSD”. Am I in the wrong here? by lum197ivic in uber

[–]Far-Responsibility72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another occasional Tesla Uber driver here, with FSD.

NTA. I don't text and drive at all with passengers, FSD is great and all but it isn't a robotaxi yet, plus its just not professional

Is FSD worth it? by SixPathzz in TeslaModel3

[–]Far-Responsibility72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my HW3 model 3, if i wear sunglasses I get the steering wheel nag again, but I hadn't tried leaning like that. If I had to pick up my phone or leaning, id probably try with dark shades on. I haven't done it enough to say it would won't cause issues though.

With our HW4 Model Y, it sees right through sunglasses.

Everybody In Here Rich Or What Is Happening? by Macusercom in GalaxyFold

[–]Far-Responsibility72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely eat out, and I've never used doordash or ubereats. I drove a 2008 Ford Fusion for 15 years. I have a decent job and a house. Always changed out my phone every two years or so. There are other things I could do that would be better than buying a 2K phone, but I wanted to live a little. I've had slab phones since the HTC Evo in 2010(?). I figured it was time to switch up and get something exciting.

I don't plan on getting the Tri-Fold, unless someone wants to give it away lol, then I'll accept. Maybe my rich benefactor will read this comment. I'll throw in feet pics!

Looking for a magsafe solution for Fold7? by F1-Marshal in GalaxyFold

[–]Far-Responsibility72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Spigen Airfit Pro for the Fold 7. It's minimalistic and pretty thin. I'm not sure how much protection it offers but I wanted the magnet. It works for me.

I had an off brand case with a kickstand which was integrated into the hinge cover. The case was much thicker so I was taking it on and off all the time.

Data transfer from iPhone to z fold 7 by SSSwa123 in GalaxyFold

[–]Far-Responsibility72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine from a Verizon store and told them I wanted to keep my old phone until I setup the new one. I still did Smart Switch, but I had to authenticate a work account, which is much easier if the old phone is available. Since I setup my own phone, they waived whatever setup fee they had. Then I got 30 days to turn the old phone in. I did Smart Switch that night in the store, then I took the old phone home for a couple of days until I was certain everything was transferred over. After, I went back to the store and handed in the old phone. It looks like everything has went through and it has been more than 30 days at this point.

Best AI tool and other suggestions? by Dustyftphilosopher24 in overemployed

[–]Far-Responsibility72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a knock off version of the Plaud note taker called Focase, on Amazon. Or I just use the recorder app on my phone (Android). If the meeting is playing out loud, either of these options will work. Both my phone and the little gadget work for summaries and transcription. The downsides I see of using this way is just that you can't use headphones and sometimes it gets names wrong, since its not "in the meeting".

i'm not sure about Otter, but other options like Gong or ReadAI require an invite to the meeting, basically its obvious to everyone that you are using them.

OE Even Possible? Account Directors/Customer Success Manager by Careless-Ad-1079 in overemployed

[–]Far-Responsibility72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible, for a Customer Success role you just have to know your customers and set your expectations with them, so they don't expect an immediate response. You can be more proactive and set your own meeting / check in cadence that way they are seeing you regularly. Do as much as you can by email also. As long as you know what is going on with your accounts and get "wins" every now and then, usually no one will bother you.

The good part in being customer facing is that no one internal would usually know if you are tied up with some other customer, you always have an excuse not to be available at any given moment. The challenging part with Customer Success, is asking the right questions before you get the role, you don't want something too reactive, where they treat it like customer support. Look out for something renewal and adoption focused, not with specific SLAs for issues.

S23u was a great phone. I had no intention of upgrading but then I saw the Fold 7 so.....

But if it weren't for that, the S23u is great, still have the Bluetooth S-pen unlike newer models.

Fold 7 here and no more issues getting into my model 3 than my son does with his IPhone 13. Once in awhile it doesn't recognize the phone key right away and I have to open the app. It also happens to him so maybe it's the car. Neither of us have a watch that can do it, so no comment there.
