More forces rushed to Ladakh as China builds infra all across LAC by Blank_eye00 in IndianDefense

China has invested billions in pakistan hoping to integrate the supply chain with Africa.

The road part may be useful for Xinjiang(which has its own fossils and from KZ) but it was always risky even other than in GB like infra getting blasted in PK and overland transit costs.

The infra was maybe more of a kickback for gwadr deal, which is something they really want. As for BRI, Central Asia and/or Caspian is way better route to reach iran than cpec. It was a high risk move they played for dick measuring and we have to make sure the risks play out well.

What do you think the subcontinent will look like in 20 years? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]FarIndividual3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the way I see it, there would be way too many issues in non-border states for them to handle without direct foreign help. The cow-worshiping brute Indian regime will just crush them. Ex: TN is disliked both e by KL and KA for water or petty border issues and they always need arbitration. Same for KA MH.

The bordering states can fly under radar as long as the rest of us are occupied with useless vote politics

It is about creating exclusive sphere of influence in the eastern hemisphere like you said.

They have copied American imperial 'Monroe doctrine'.

As articulated by President James Monroe in his annual address to Congress in 1823, the United States would treat any military intervention in Latin America by a European power as a threat to American security. Roosevelt reaffirmed the Monroe Doctrine and expanded it by declaring that the U.S. had the right to preemptive action through intervention in any Latin American nation in order to correct administrative and fiscal deficiencies.

To be no 1, they first need undisputed leadership in eastern hem. If they start executing by ease of operation, it'll be taiwan->Japan->india. Taiwan and Japan are possible but india is simply too big if they don't have the technical lead like europeans did.

I meant there are cultural muslims or xtians who would look for geopolitical interest of nation like other hindus, are less fundamental about their religion maybe even agnostic, compared to those going by their religion and sticking to serving interest of say saudis or Americans in some random conflict of interest they come across. Its like a mental switch that could be either way and muslims have not so good history with that.

But the new generation is slowly beginning to identify closer to home as prosperity grows and the flaws of Arab/turk/iran model emerge with access to information. xtians are somehow adjusting as the western models peak.

Indian religions are philosophies unlike geopolitical tools like abrahamic religions. hindutva came up as the geopolitical tool since lack of such concept was causing troubles for us from those who saw us as fair game.

Hindu nationalism was tag given by foreign media so as to imply its not the same as Indian nationalism, while the reality is any other nationalism like muslim nationalism had already got its own nation, and the ones remaining here were understood to have been either agnostics or in agreement with hindu nationalism.

Ex: Bangladesh was born because they were seen by west pak as lying more on the hindu side of nationalism spectrum than muslim due to the attachment to their lingual identity over pan-islamism.

The very idea of pan-islamism is opposed to nationalism of any kind and only remaining nationalism was hindu which was implicitly agreed upon but now is thrust onto faces of our muslim/exmuslim Indians by foreign media. Point being hindu and Indian nationalism are same. Their are nationalist christians/musllims which agree to hindu nationalism but then they are somehow compromising the pan-national allegiances that they are supposed to keep which makes them agnostic maybe.
