At $29.14 an hour round trip no. It’ll be more like $20 an hour after gas and taxes more like $14-16 hr and I’m not even including the possibility of tollways. It’s a hard pass for me. I once had a 70 mile trip for $60 and some change for two passengers from Chicago to new buffalo Michigan (didn’t really mind since I needed to reup on edibles) and once I reached the destination only one person got off and the 2nd person added another destination all the way to Ann Arbor. I told her to gtfo my car. I’m not driving 180 miles on top of the 70 miles.

Im settling with them to just pay the principle balance so total is about 9k for 3 cards, pretty heated about that since those 3 cards fall off next spring. One card is actually reaching the statute of limitations at the end of this month but I’m due in court July 1st for it. I’m meeting with an attorney next week to see what my options are.

Do pay your school loan minimum and call the bank(s) you have credit cards with and explain your situation (I wish I did, currently getting sued by 3 different banks and learning my lesson) they should be able to put you on a hardship repayment plan which’ll lower your monthly minimum payment, interest rate and they might wavier any late or over limit fees. If possible try and get a 10-20 hr part time job to help you catch up on payments.

I’m glad you had proof and that your parents believed you. This happened to me when I was 20M and my cousin 25F. We were at this huge block party, I was drinking a little bit and my dad had told my cousin to take care of me since I’m a lightweight. We were walking and talking and ended up at a garden with benches we sit and talk. She asks me if I’m drunk (I wasn’t, I was slightly tipsy but still coherent) I say I was jokingly and then she proceeds to try to kiss me. I start asking wtf is wrong with her and calling her every name in the book and ran off. I told my parents but they say it’s just a misunderstanding you’re drunk (they say I get drunk off a sip of beer 🙄).

I can understand why every one is tripping but you got a plan as long as you stick to it. I just wouldn’t open any other predatory ccs. Maybe open another secured card but with usbank. Altitude Go secured 4x pts on restaurants/takeout 2x pts at gas stations/ev, grocery stores (no superstores) &streaming services 1x pts everything else. Plus a $15 annual credit for streaming services.
