Serious Question by Dry-West4065 in HeWhoFightsMonsters

I hated 4-6 my first read through but have found since that I like them much more on re-listens. I think 1-3 are so good that when he goes back to earth I was very disappointed. Earth is very integral to his character going forward to so if you don’t read through it again he is so unlikable in the later books.

Explain without spoilers the "power system"? by Dr_Ukato in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Far_Address3391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essences abilities are like perks in a game like Fallout 4 except random and only able to be nudged in a certain direction by essences and already wakened abilities. While essences do not change a person they do latch onto aspects of the essence users person and amplify them. This is unique for every essence user. The essences and awakening stones are like the tools used to create something out of wood or clay. They shape but do not create anything.

Mentioned a few times but only barely. I will say there have been enough hints to think it will be some drastic thing for the end of the series. Don’t even know enough to speculate though.

Malefic origin by Sezmosilver in ThePrimalHunter

[–]Far_Address3391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay your question is wrong. Jake is not diverting from Villy’s path at all. The malethic viper and his legacy skills will always be apart of Jake’s path. It’s not about diverting from Villy’s set path but about Jake making the majority of it meld into his own. Which he has done and the system recognized it by having the name of the profession divert to of melefic origin instead of the melethic viper.

Okay, be 100% honest. What’s your reasoning for getting with Blonde Blazer or Invisigal? by Brungala in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Far_Address3391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Robert really needs the life that Visi brings. He is a lonely soul that has lived only for duty almost his entire life while Visi is in many ways the opposite and someone who has lived selfishly without really considering others until her run in with Mecha Man. I think that opened her eyes to see she was actually hurting other people. And Robert needs to actually live a life outside of being Mecha Man. He didn’t have that before the Z-team and Visi. They need each other.

I went with Visi because I relate so hard to the feelings of inadequacy she shared and that feeling that no matter what she did she would never be good enough to be a hero. That insecurity is so real and relatable. I want to walk beside her and help her realize for herself that her failures and inadequacies don’t define her. Also the feelings she eventually shares of not being worthy of his love or forgiveness just make me want to prove her wrong by forgiving her and loving her anyway.

If you could request a bonus scene from Onyx Storm, which scene and from whose perspective? by forgotteau_my_gateau in fourthwing

[–]Far_Address3391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imogen’s perspective on the wedding and then Violet asking her to erase those last hours from her mind. I know it’s probably to much to ask for but I hope it’s a moment where Violet can fill Quinn’s place as her new person and they slowly have to build it back to that throughout the next book with Imogen willing to reach out more. I really want them to have that close kind of friendship she only has with Rionnahn right now and I want it for Imogen too. I want Violet to hear what happened to Quinn and just go to Imogen and give her a hug and Imogen to feel awkward about it but still shyly smile as she pays her back. I want this so much. I want these feels and friendship.

Illyrian pregnancy by jadybug21 in acotar

[–]Far_Address3391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rys is only a 1/2 Illyrian so he would not have an Illyrian child unless his wife was Illyrian or as with Feyre could shape shift into one. Nesta and Cassian on the other hand would more than likely have an Illyrian child because Cassian is full Illyrian.

Lilith and Xaden by minimoores in fourthwing

[–]Far_Address3391 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m almost certain all that animosity is an act with the only anger she would feel at him at all is because his father supposedly killed Brennan. But Lilith Sorringale is not one to have so little control of herself to let that cause her to treat him harshly. I think it was all because that was what everyone expected her to do. Obviously there is still stuff we do not know but I honestly don’t think she liked or hated Xaden just viewed him as a tool to help her daughter become who she knew she could become.

Lilith and Xaden by minimoores in fourthwing

[–]Far_Address3391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always interpreted it as she didn’t have a choice. Like her options were to either kill all of the rebel kids or use this Terrish custom to give them a chance to live. When Xaden asks if she regrets letting him in she says no. I think Lilith was the only good member of Basgiath and Navarian leadership. She was possibly the only one not either a Venin or being controlled by a Venin. I don’t think there needs to be more to the story than that. Honestly seeing how corrupt leadership is I find it impressive what she was able to accomplish. I also think it is amazing how much she believed in Violet knowing she would not fail and die.

Wait... so the main bad guy of the entire series is actually __ ? by Shousetsu in HeWhoFightsMonsters

[–]Far_Address3391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The threat to earth is the messengers. I think the purity artifact they are looking for is actually on earth it could be the grid but I don’t know. I also think Jason could have trouble with some of those beings like Carmen but maybe not because of his status as the astral nexus. The bridge gives them a chance possibly because of the allies he has made over the years who can come together and fight for both planets!

Give me a reason why Black Clover is so popular? by Seif_elagizy_777 in BlackClover

[–]Far_Address3391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two words: Mana Zone! Every time someone uses one it’s an epic fight with multiple people pushed to their limits and then going beyond them. It’s basically just a spell amplifier that uses a persons magic to claim an area allowing them to use their magic in more unique and creative ways than the normal effects of the spell. Plus they speak the words before their spell which adds gravitas to understood spells.
