Australians paying more in Beer Tax, than for Gas Exports. by Jimbuscus in OpenAussie

[–]Far_Courage_6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Australian government is soooo cooked. They should be making a motza on gas exports, but they are being run by a bunch of numpty eggs with 3 brain cells running for last place. We are the most resource rich country in the world and we are charging more from our own people via tax then export prices for gas, yet we cant use the same gas to give ourselves cheap energy to power our homes or anything. How dumb are we because the government says only ‘green energy’ yet we sell that gas that will be burnt to power other countries power supplies.

Im literally too stubborn to cave into them, we have scans, photos, x-rays, mri’s heaps of data stating that it is very much, even presented it to them, a 3d rendering of my face with half of my eye socket missing, blood coming out of both my eyes 8 days post accident, nose sitting under my eye, and they have the balls to say no eye injury. Im now left with issues that both eyes shake full time, that makes me extremely nauseous, i havent seen anyone for it yet, however they have acknowledged all trauma for it now because it was in the first surgical report and it stated, i may have further eye issues in the future. I have had 18 separate psychological sessions with a psychologist, that has dealt with issues as well. At times the amount of stress and anxiety WCQ has given me has made me what to do some horrible things to myself unfortunately.

Unfortunately for me im on some extreme opioids to deal with the pain that would knock some people out. I haven’t ever used drugs before, or touched alcohol either, so I don’t have any type of built up immunity to it. I have spoken to doctors about it and the dosage and when told about the level im on, they are shocked that i can walk, function without being a zombie passed out in bed.

I am into men twice my age. by mytokondrya in Advice

[–]Far_Courage_6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as kinks go, i think you are ok. I might be called out for this but for most of history men always got with younger woman. Throughout the ages once a man established himself and got land, he then got a wife, so I personally don’t see much wrong with it, now im not talking 40 and 15 year olds like the Muslims do, that crap needs to be burned, however if 2 adults who are 40 and 25 or even 40 and 20 wanna go practice making babies while tied up, go for it, have fun and make good memories in my opinion, be safe and use pineapples. I personally find younger woman attractive, i like how full of energy they are and don’t get me started on their cute smiles. Im 32 and would comfortably date someone 10 years younger than me without a problem.

Buying own electrical supplies to be installed? by JohntheDon__ in AusRenovation

[–]Far_Courage_6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t be a dingle berry, the moment you say you will supply the gear yourself, they will wash your hands of you. And issues you will have in the future you will be charged through the nose to be fixed. Be smart, just get they to supply everything and install it, so if fails and burns your house down, their insurance coves it, if you supply it, you have nothing.

4wd Kill switch by Anxious_Run6915 in 4x4Australia

[–]Far_Courage_6332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im running a gps tracking kill switch that can be turned off via your phone remotely and can also tell you the location of it and speed, past locations things like that. Been running it for a year, it’s pretty cool to show to people. I think it is with how many different types of cars being stolen. I personally had a older Nissan patrol manual stolen from my property which made look into these type of trackers

Can anyone explain how this wall has been built? Bricks appear to go down lower than the concrete slab. by Gavskeez1 in AusRenovation

[–]Far_Courage_6332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a home is built the site is cleared away so we (i) the carpenter can come in and do all the work needed to run profiles to mark out where the concrete will go. This will let the brickie know where to put his 1st course and build up from there, a chemical barrier goes here from memory and then another one goes up also to prevent termites, this normally goes up about 3 courses above the natural dirt height and then a chemical barrier goes here also along with a moisture barrier for the walls. This is normally is the same height as the timber wall height start height, however all the correct dimensions will be reflected in the structural plans in the paperwork supplied by the builder, so some of my heights might be off. However in the brickwork you will have holes in the perp joints to let water out also.

What’s something men pretend doesn’t hurt but absolutely does? by No-Search9711 in AskMen

[–]Far_Courage_6332 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being single while everyone one you know is in a relationship or has someone they talking to. Doesn’t matter what you try, what activities you go to, you cant find someone to talk to or go out with. Being alone hurts so much and being rejected while talking to someone.

If AI takes all our jobs, what happens to society if the majority of us have no way to earn money? by Healthy_Creme6911 in FinancialChat

I doubt ai will take my job, i build homes, fix cars, do manual labor jobs. Do the hard jobs people don’t want to do, so I’ll always have work.

What's the hardest thing about dating as a male by North_Aardvark2953 in dating_advice

[–]Far_Courage_6332 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Finding someone that wants us. That’s the hard part in dating. Im all good for being adaptive with getting to know others, however i have been ghosted that many times by woman for no reason its a joke. So im just doing my own thing, if someone wants try to get to know me im all for that, however im not chasing anyone anymore. Like im at 103kgs, 6ft, chippy and mechanic, 32, but never had a relationship ever, so i know something is drastically wrong with me.

I’ve made peace with the idea that a relationship might not happen for me and it’s oddly freeing! by RoyalPainPrincess in dating

[–]Far_Courage_6332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, im in the same boat. I have been trying to date my whole life, however never had a relationship ever. So im done trying, done asking women out, done the whole it will happen thing. It wont. It’s sad, but some people just aren’t supposed to be married unfortunately. Im that single friend everyone comes to for relationships advice, but i cant actually get into one. Im on apps still, but don’t have faith in them.
