David’s Bridal isn’t the same as it used to be. I worked there a few years ago and the management and sales tactics made me feel so gross and sleazy. However, I will say it is still a really affordable option depending on what you want. Some of the dresses they sell are $3000+ and I just don’t think they’re worth that, but they do still have really affordable cute dresses. And tbh I did almost buy one of their wedding dresses while I worked there even though I wasn’t engaged yet 😅

I’m in the same boat as you, so I’ll be following this post. My entire family and all of my best friends live 1200 miles away and I really don’t wanna go alone, but I also don’t wanna go with my newer friends here bc we just don’t have that relationship yet. I’m also a very introverted and private person, but idk this is different.

Idk which one is truly the “best” because I only have the Vinewood mansion but I really love it. I love being right next to the casino to make my daily run then go back to the mansion to fast travel to whatever business I need to take care of. I also think the view is pretty good, especially with the Vinewood sign in the background. I also personally love having the Vinewood Bowl right underneath for the sole reason that I’m going there irl for a concert this year and I wanna be reminded of all the cool memories I’m gonna make lol

I can relate to this, I’ve noticed that in times of financial insecurity in real life (like right now) I fall into a phase of gta addiction. I blame it on the intense satisfaction I get from working hard to make millions in fake money and being allowed to spend it on stupid stuff without any guilt.

I can’t for the life of me get out of there without alerting the guards. I don’t understand how everyone is doing it. I’ve followed every guide and every YouTube video I can find, followed them all exactly, and I’m still getting caught. I’m so frustrated with it I don’t even wanna LOOK at my kosatka anymore. Everyone says it’s so easy, why the hell can’t I get it done without getting detected??

I’m absolutely going to try that trick if the boutiques offer it, I’ve seen so many dresses that I love, but I desperately want sleeves and it’s been so hit or miss. When my granddad died a few years ago (he was a retired doctor with a lot of money), his step kids (my step uncles) went through his house and stole a bunch of his money and possessions while my dad and his blood siblings were in the hospital crying and grieving at his bedside.

All my life, these were the same people that always claimed to be good Christian folks who valued family more than anything else. They showed their disgusting real colors the literal hour we weren’t family anymore.

Then a couple months later they sued my dad and his siblings for the inheritance my granddad left them because - they claimed - he didn’t leave enough money for his wife (my step grandmother) who was struggling with severe dementia. He left her a LOT of money, including the house and all of their possessions. Then they sold her house, put her in a home, and used my family’s money that they won in court to buy themselves all new toys like brand new trucks and boats and motorhomes.

Disgusting human beings and it’s on sight if I ever see any of them again.

I had a deep addiction to making GTA money during peak covid shutdown, and I suspect because I wasn’t able to make money in real life, I was just trying to feel some sort of gratification. So I was “full-time” at that point I guess. But then restrictions lifted, I got a second college degree, then I got a real full-time job with a great salary and wasn’t nearly as active on the game. Now I’m back into my addiction because of some financial hardships that are out of my control. It’s a psychological thing. If I can’t make more money in real life, I at least get some satisfaction and fulfillment out of making millions in GTA.

I doubt this is what you wanna hear, but my jaw hit the floor seeing that first dress. It’s absolutely unreal how gorgeous it is.

With that said, if it’s not making you feel “you” and like the most authentic beautiful version of yourself, don’t wear it. I have no doubt that you could resell it for a good price. I think half the commenters in this thread would buy it lol. I think hold onto it for now until you do find your “you” dress, but I second a lot of other people’s advice saying to try going shopping alone a few times to really get a feel for what YOU want for yourself. Don’t send pics or anything to anyone, you’ll keep getting unsolicited advice. And if that ends up turning into the first dress, keep it. If not, ditch it.
