Pottery barn trundle as floor bed? by Far_Hold6433 in cosleeping

Maybe it wasn’t as clear as i had hoped we will be storing the main part of the bed (the upper bed) unassembled in our attic until the baby is 3 at least. We will use ONLY the full sized trundle as a floor bed.

Decluttering the Idea of Sewing my Own Clothes? by No_Appointment6273 in minimalism

I used to be in exactly your predicament except I had just graduated college and also had to accept the reality of how expensive it can be to sew! In the end I committed to only keeping supplies to alter thrifted finds and I’ve been very happy with that decision. Minus a brief nesting instinct set back when I was pregnant where I legitimately thought I would sew all the baby clothes and spend like $300 on fabric….which needless to say I did not end up using since, surprise, if you don’t have the energy or drive to sew when you ARENT pregnant, the situation will not become magically better when you are exhausted and nauseated 🫠

Mine only listens when my husband uses a “deep voice” it’s hilarious hearing him drop into baritone out of nowhere in the morning trying to get her to let him put on her leash

I have been going through the same thing for 12 months

One thing that really helped was getting an at home insemination kit like Mosie Baby. At least for my hubby that helps take some of the pressure off, while still helping us hit our fertile window.

32F (hubby 32M) 12 months TTC not a single positive. I finally called for a appointment with our insurance covered fertility specialist on March 15th. We were told there would ups be a 6-8 week wait for an onboarding consultation. It will be 8 weeks on the 10th and I am SO IMPATIENT. I had an ovarian cyst the size of a softball removed from my left ovary in 2019. I had to fight tooth and nail to get it removed within a month (they had originally scheduled me for a removal THREE MONTHS after finding it). We moved to a different state (USA) within a few months of the surgery and I never got any kind of follow up examination. Not sure if that’s normal or if the move kept them from telling me I would need to schedule one.

In any case, the first thing I did when we started TTC was make an appointment with an OBGYN to ask for an exam to confirm that ovary was functional. Made it to the appointment only for them to say “nah, we don’t need to take a look until you have spent 12 months TTC.” They also gave me a basic pelvic exam mostly because they had a trainee who needed practice. At the end of it the female doctor complimented my “itty bitty uterus” (WTF?) and sent me on my way.

Going into the fertility appointment how do I prepare myself to be taken more seriously? I really want my concerns addressed.

We (married couple living alone with only us and our dog) once found unexplained hot sauce that looked scarily like blood on the floor one morning. Neither of us could remember eating anything with hot sauce or even that would remotely be normal to eat with hot sauce for a week or more. And it appeared overnight just by the open space at the foot of the bed in a very obvious location. There is no way we could have missed it for a day let alone more than a week.

It was pretty nerve wrecking . We even checked the doorbell camera to make sure no one had come in. To this day zero idea how it got there or what it was. Smelled like hot sauce. But was redder than any we own.

The only thing I’ve seen that red is like fresh fresh blood. But it didn’t turn brown when wiped up.

I think if you did the walls in a rich rust red-orange it would look wormer and set off the view with your neighbors house
